Just signed on to the US server and was playing gun master for the first time. I didn\t like it. Left the server after a few minutes. I rank it right there with CTF and Rush...aweful.

CTF is fun on some maps.. but yea gunmaster is just boring. plus it fucks up your loadouts after you are done.

Think i will be getting this, when is it released?

During scrims I am enacting Order No. 270

If we want to do well in scrims we need to practice as a unit. Would like to set up some practice sessions with all who are interested in improving their teamwork and tactics. We def need to focus on Communication and squad roles.... Unless we enjoy massacres.

I'll be in your squad, and practice with you. I can play medic, ammo guy, or spawn beacon guy depending on what is needed.

i had the lowest ping at 25 and i still sucked. but then again it may well just because i suck lol.

Steam are asking for £49.99 for this on Pre-Order this morning.....ouch!

My friend got 2 copies of the special edition that comes with the pipboy.. 120 bucks each.. i told him hes nuts haha

Turn on manual bolting in the options.... much more enjoyable and faster rate of fire.

raptr is a terribly piece of software. I would not recommend using it.

Been on for a couple of hours today, 1 person had a ping over 400 but everyone else's ping was around 50 ish, i suppose it depends where the servers are.

What I noticed was people's ping stayed low, but the character models would err. warp around the map. Of course this was also when it was on the steam sale, and servers were packed with people... might have had something to do with server load. After playing a couple more times I didn't notice it as much..

Also if you havent tried it you might wanna look at Rising Storm/Red Orchestra 2. It's a pretty nice more tactical based WW2 shooter. 

I play Verdun. Its pretty fun. One thing i've noticed if too many people on a server have 100+ ping it makes everyone on the server lag. it was really cheap couple weeks ago on the summer sale.

Raptr is terrible software. would not recommend using it.

I plan on popping into the crysis server tonight for an hour or two but after that i'm totally down to do this.

 

Because it fills out the teams with bots you can easily play with just a few players.

Gameranger is a public vpn to create "local lan" games. It works (I've used it before) but it's questionably safe at best.

 

If it's just us XI peeps then it would be perfectly safe. You can create private "rooms".

 

I own both 1 and 2. I would love to install them and give em a go. It could be good fun!

I play on the US server much more than the UK. I do miss the normal server though. 

I also agree with oneill... it would be nice to see a classic server. I really wish that game type would have launched with the launch of BF4 though.. I think it would have been more successful

Why not something like Pidgin, or Trillian?

So who all is in the closed alpha? I am.

Any ideas as to what to do with a bunch of old games???  Would game stop be a place or just take them to the Goodwill store.

 

I am talking about games that can be up to 10/12 years old to some very recent ones.

Goodwill/Salvation Army.. Gamestop buys old console games now. what games are they? might be able to ebay some of them.
