  1. Alas, I am just outside the totality and in the 90% zone. I did get to watch a good total eclipse that I was dead center of just outside Richland, Washington in the mid 70's. I took 2 #5 welding hood lenses and took a small piece of cardboard, cut a hole and taped the edges of the lenses too it. Worked like a champ. It was still a little bright, If you can get lenses that total 11 it would probably be better. Enjoy
  2. Well PaPa Dean, I use a Corsair K70LUX. Best keyboard I have ever had and has lasted me for years. Knock on Wood, I think it is indestructable !
  3. Amen, Phuckitman! I don't know what I would do.... without My other half, she is my everything.
  4. Praying for her at this time, and Phuckitman as well, If it were me I would be very anxious. Like Sgt.Smeg, I know a few who have had this procedure done... with great results.
  5. I think this is a great way to remember those that have gone before us and that made Xtremeidiots what it is today.
  6. And here is another Welcome Back ToySoldier. Just curious, what part of the county are you prospecting.... I spent many years in the Washington Blewett Pass area.
  7. I like this a lot. I have always used Belarc Advisor... and I like it a whole lot! Now I have 2, Thanks
  8. That is a great find! I have been metal detecting for several years, and have found some interesting items. I have a White's Gold Master and I got it to use on the gold claims that I was a part of at the time. The claims in that area had been worked between 1896 and 1911 and produced $11,000,000 at $8 dollar gold price. What was neat is that I found a buried trash dump and as I started going through that I found all kind of old stoppered bottles and about anything you can think of, including a Winchester rifle that had been burnt..... gave it to my father-in-law and he hung it over the fireplace. In that area there is a lot of free gold, real fine stuff, and there is flake and small nuggets especeally near the old stamp mill and tailing piles. Anyway, I gave my interest in the claims to the other guys when we moved from Washington state, to Ohio and then to Alabama. What I am in the process of doing with the detector is going to some of the old Confederate battle sites, that's what I will be doing in the spring.
  9. Wonderful Fairytale... if it could only be true!
  10. Rob, Rob... Rob! It's Good to see you back again.
  11. I have been around for a long time..... And you will find no better friends than you will find here, WELCOME
  12. Well, I hope you are ready for some non-stop idiocy! Welcome to the Clan.
  13. Congratulations LaRSin! Those of us that have reached this Anniversary have proven that marriages can last a lifetime. And can be an example of what marriage was meant to be.
  14. Powerfullllll, Yeah. I have 14 of them that are 1x2x1/2 that and can dead lift 169 lbs. each. Had to make a special wooden device to separate them. Bought them out of Dallas and intend to use them for a magnet motor that I may eventually get around to!
  15. Like the Fish... Love the BOAT.
  16. Papa Dean, it's been a long, long time! Just one question, are you still as good with the knife!!! You used to scare the Hell out of me with that thing. At this time they are finally stringing Fiber Cable and hopefully I will be playing soon again myself. Glad to see you back and I look forward to fighting you again.
  17. Yea, it is scary. If I remember right, they started talking about shedding some time ago. And that my friend is really scary! If you go to the Doctors substack (in the vid) and take a look at her articles and others articles, there seem to be some sound experimentation and verification. I've already had an old military friend pass away after taking the vax and then later, the booster. He was healthy and tarting a week after the booster his major organs began to shut down, one after the other. I was talking to a man at the VA and he said that he had lost a friend the exact same way. After watching the video and chasing down some articles, I think that what she is talking about may have been what happened. The scary thing is that now even the unvaxed are unsafe because of the shedding. What a world we live in !
  18. Janey, I too am glad that you are doing better and that you are at home. Keep doing what they have told you to do as this is an ongoing process. I pray that all goes well and that you will recover greatly... and that you will be kicking butt in no time.
  19. Another pair of boots, another rifle supporting a helmet, another fallen member..... Bud you will be missed.
  20. I've got a question for you Beer. In 1933, Executive Order 6102 made it a criminal offense for U.S. citizens to own or trade gold anywhere in the world, with exceptions for some jewelry and collector's coins. Done by Executive Order. Years later restrictions were put in that disallowed the Presidents power to do this, so his rights to do so were limited to times of War and National Emergency Being as we are continually at war, such as the war on terrorism and etc. and other such... War's. Do you thing Sleepy Joe might try this again ! Man everything would go to hell in a handbasket then.
  21. My faux pas guys, it is Central Washington University in Ellensburg WA.,not Eastern.
  22. I don't know Key, chimps are known to make and use crude tools and making traps... This to me would indicate intelligence of a kind, at least. Crude by our opinion, but still intelligence. Eastern Washington University has a program that has been going for years that has taught chimps sign language and the human and chimp can carry conversations, and have discovered that chimps are capable of "deep thought". So in my opinion, there are at least 2 intelligent species on one planet.. How many more might there be out there???
  23. Well Guys, you will probably think I am a nut, but I do. I am not going to go into depth, but I have a few reasons for this. I lived in Yakima Washington for 44 years and Eastern Washington is one of the Hot Beds of sightings. There have been many sightings every year, some of which made the national news. In my opinion, too many for there not to be some that are credible. Having said that, I know a fellow of interest and have known him for over 30 years, as a casual acquaintance. His name is Bob Gimlin. He and Roger Patterson are the two that caught a Bigfoot on video in California in 1967. I will say this.... I have never known the man to tell a lie. I also know that he has been ridiculed to the point that he won't answer questions about it... that video just about ruined his life. I will say this, nearly 60% if the United States has not been settled, large percentages are forest and mountains and places that people just don't live. So who can really say that something doesn't exist!
  24. Well, yes and no! As far as my Internet Connection.... other than prepping the area and clearing the right of ways, nothing is happening at this time..... BUMMER. As far as anything else, I am having to take it easy for awhile. Two weeks ago my six foot ladder and I took a trip. I have been working in the old barn trying to get everything the way "I" want it and take care of leaks in the metal roof and such. The barn floor has a lot of hard as rock manure from the ages around the walls of the barn. We have had a lot rain in the past few weeks and evidently enough water seeped in under manure. I sat my ladder up where it needed to be made sure it was stable and went up to the 3rd step and began drilling deck screws in some 2x4's I was adding. Then, the front left leg went through the crust and the ladder twisted out from under me and fell on its side, I came down on my feet but at an angle and I fell backward on to the ladder leg with the middle of my back. To make a long story short, I now have a vertebra with a small crack in it. I absolutely cannot sit up when lying down, it really hurts. But I can roll to my side and push myself up. Otherwise I am unaffected and nothing hurts in any other position. The good thing is my Doctor says that it should ease in awhile. Might have to have a little Physical Therapy, don't know yet. Other than that "Things are just Peachy"
  25. Cool Pic ! But you had better drink the beer fast.... Beer slushes at 27º and what little alcohol will freeze at -173.2º. But if you want a quick Cold beer get a paper towel wet, wrap that paper towel around your bottle, and pop it in the freezer. Ten minutes later, you will have a nice, chilled beer.
