Is there any chance we might all be going back to BF4? When I get my new PC, I can finally play it but I don't know who of you all still play it.

Buy it from here, we keep promoting this but only a few of us take advantage, i got mine for half price back in June, price has gone up now but still cheaper then if you buy from Origin etc.

Battefield/dice send out a tweet confirming there will be dedicated servers, so I'm just gonna hold them on there word But not pre-ordering until they confirm there will be community hosted servers like in previous bf games.

TIP NUMBER ONE
In most shooters, when you see an enemy, you take a second to aim down the scope/zoom in—that way, you can make sure the shot actually lands. Most games grant you a small bonus in accuracy, lack of recoil, and so on, whenever you stop to aim down the sights. Battlefront is a little different, as YouTuber jackfrags explains below:
 
In Battlefront, you don’t gain much of an advantage when you aim down the sights. Instead, you lose a second that you could have used to shoot, and your character slows down to boot. It’s actually more beneficial to shoot enemies right away, even if you’re running around/jetpacking, since your aim will more or less be the same as when you stand still and aim down the sights. Jackfrags says he spoke to a weapon designer in the game, who confirmed this information.
 
 
I am worried that this will break down some good habits I have for BF4.

Oh yeah, even lower ping for me then Where is it located now? At jays house, so his ping is going negative ^^

Might i by the way remind people that when this server was doing bad and we had to change it to proper hardcore, the ZONK guys came in and brought a bunch of people in to help us start and populate the server? Like HOGS guys for instance.....

Seriously? I dont see why this is a debate. They are good not great players and any player that refuses to play in the server that they are in are not the kinds of people you want in XI anyways. The regulars that play in the server are the ones that shape it, XI shoudl not have to intervene or kick anyone unless they are cheating or causing a scene. Removing Zonk players would not help the server at all and may in fact hurt it.

Hell yeah!! I'm ready for some 144hz BF4!! Rooting for 4K BF4...give me a good excuse to upgrade my system...

No debate needed on this subject .XI being a highly recognised clan with excellent servers should all ready of done this . Get your act together brother Edward.

I usually go for sabot shells in the bigger maps, like Silk Road or Golmud. Great for long range and taking out helos. Downside of the sabot is that is does not do any splash damage, so agains infantry it is kinda useless unless you get a direct hit. Same goes kinda for the HE shell, does a bit better damage against armor but not good against infantry. An other downside of the HE shell is that the reload takes a bit longer for each shell. If you compare the DPS from the HE shell with the other shells you'll see that there is no real difference, so in my eyes the HE shell isn't worth it. Sabot is great for distance and the normal AP shell is great for splash damage and thus taking out players behind cover.
 
Here are the stats for the shells and stuff. As you can see both Sabot and AP do the same damage, the HE does a bit more but is slower and drops off quite a bit, so distance is a bit harder as well.
 
For secondary i'd go with cannister shells on the big maps, it is like a shotgun Great for taking out infi at a distance with one shot or taking out that pesky jihad jeeps. And the best part is, it is great for taking out planes since the pellets spread out nicely and act kinda like a goalkeeper ^^ Downside is obivious the reload, you can either fire the cannister or main shell. So for the smaller maps i run HMG usually.
 
I think the autoloader is the better option, reactive armor is nice for taking on a rear shot so you can still move. But with good tank placement you have that part covered and it is nice to fire a bit faster ^^
 
 

The server definitely seems to have been going well the past couple nights; I've hopped on for a couple rounds before bed, and saw plenty of players (though not many XI'ers).

Now the US server running good ! 
 

I don't think the issue is what the server is, I think it's getting the people to start it.
 
On hardcore it does just fine if people will start it. We get 52 people and a queue.
I'm sure it would do the same softcore also.
 
But regardless of what it is, if no one starts it well, doesn't matter what map, mode or setting it is. She will just sit empty.
 
We need consistency and regular players, if we are constantly changing the mode we can't keep any regular players. We did the SC vs. HC in the past and the HC won.
I personally like HC better but end of the day it's what the larger group wants. But again, none of this matters anyway if no one is helping start it.
The consistency comes into play because if it's alive one night and dead the next you can't get regulars. If you can keep it going nightly for a week or two well people start to keep coming back. After a while regulars help start it because they KNOW it WILL run. Right now, no non-members like to stick around because for all they know it won't take off.
 
We need someone with no job or life basically lol. Once it's going it's great. But I seem to sit on it alone for 12hrs and no one else appear.
Yesterday for example it never started, my guy was on it for like 13 hours and crickets. I gave up at like 10pm.

I like gunmaster, but not with a full 48 player server. It is a lot better on a small server count, but the server is way to populair to ever have a small number of players 
 
@@huskeryu, the loudout bug is kinda fixed. Only happend to me the very first time i played gunmaster.

I found it ironic that on that server they needed like 40 votes to pass a vote kick even enough there is only 32 on each side haha

If you want to setup comms for the scrimm in advance you need a TS admin to create a scrimm channel with subchannels and then have the squad leaders decided before the match so they can set up Whisper keys to talk to the squad leaders from the other squads (one key for all leaders is probably smartest)
 
Next time there is a scrimm someone poke me, if I can make it I will be happy to join in. Playing structured as a team with my squad mates is exactly my kind of gig, be it Arma or BF4.
