I would wait until the 3000 series cards come out if your looking at sub $300 cards. The RTX 3060 is supposed to be $299 and faster than a 1080ti and faster than a $550 2060 Super but use less power. Prices on the 1000 and 2000 series cards is going to be alot cheaper. If you can wait until Black Friday which is November 27 this year you will probably be able to get a GTX 1070ti or RTX 2060 Super for under $300. Here is the best card that you can get for $300. It sits rite on 64fps on max settings until you actually start running around. In COD4 MW2 freezetag mod I get 250+ fps with dips as low as 220/230 fps on certain maps on all max settings. I bought mine used off of ebay for $90 with free shipping. You can find them a little cheaper if you look for a slightly used one on Ebay but I would rather have 1 with a Warranty. You will have absolutely No driver issues with that card unless you try to run the Beta drivers. Never ever run AMDs beta or "Optional" drivers lol.

Respectfully, Thank You for what you do Sir. But Please go to Spectate or leave the game when you have to go away from your keyboard. You could get Banned if you go AFK to many times. Pressing ESC and clicking Change Team/Go To Spectate or Exit Game literally takes 2 seconds. It tends to piss everyone off when people go AFK for more than a few seconds. The giving the enemy free kills and kill streaks and not thawing because your AFK thing tends to make some Idiots very upset so I'm told.

Just looked on Craigslist and facebook marketplace and there are A SHIT PILE of used 2080 ti's on there now. I'm not paying $400-$450 for a used 2080 Ti with no warranty when the better 3070 is supposed to be $499 with 3-5 year warranty. I do need to get a new card though since I recently upgraded to 3rd gen Ryzen with a PCIe Gen 4 compatible motherboard. I'm running a RX480 4g card. Still works in all games but occasionally I get some really nasty Vram related artifacting. Doesn't happen much since I under-clocked the Vram by 200mhz in MSI Afterburner. Occasionally it will still do it when I start my PC. Restart it and it's usually good to go. This card was used for Bitcoin Mining. I bought it for $80 with Free shipping and replaced the dried up thermal compound on it and It has been a really good card. It's quiet and runs cool and still gets decent FPS.

Actually by the specs the 3070 is 70%-80% + faster than the 2080ti in every way except for memory speed. The GDDR6 in the 2080ti is the same as what is in the 3070. 2080ti and 3070 have GDDR6 = 672-768 GB/s The 3080 and 3090 have the much faster GDDR6x @ 912-1080 GB/s RTX 2080 Ti has 4352 CUDA cores and 1st Gen tensor and RT cores. RTX 3070 has 5888 CUDA cores and 1.7x faster 2nd Gen tensor and RT cores. <===== This is where most of it's noticeable IRL performance is. 2080 TI is also limited to running on the slower PCIe Gen 3 motherboards @ 16gb/s in a x16 slot. 3070-3090 is running on the new (and twice as fast) PCIe Gen 4 motherboards @ 32gb/s in a x16 slot. PCIe Gen 3 and PCIe gen 4 cards are 100% backwards compatible but Gen 4 can handle literally 2 times the bandwidth.

A 250gb SSD will be big enough for Win 10 and a bunch of 10-20gb games or 1 big game like GTA5 and COD4 with a shit ton of maps. A 480 or 500g SSD is big enough for GTA 5 @ 100gb and Call of Duty Warzone @ 225gb+ and Win 10 and you MIGHT be able to get COD4 on it as well. There are both excellent choices. My motherboard has 2 slots for M.2 drives but I can't afford to buy the new SSDs yet.I want to get a 1tb drive but the 1 that I want is $180.

Uninstalled Standalone a while ago because I kept dying from starvation or the cold or zombies fucking me up the second that I find a gun and some ammo. Once you fire a gun it's like every damn zombie in a 20 mile radius swarms you. Would be nice to have a server with a very high drop rate and good weather all of the time. Seems like all I manage to do is run around and look for food and water for hours. I literally find more guns and ammo than food on most servers. I'll find decent gear and starve to death shortly after that, This happens pretty much every time I try to play. Wasn't that bad back when it was still in Beta but it's horribly hard to play and survive longer than maybe 4 hours now. It pissed me off pretty bad the last time so I uninstalled it. I had an M4 with an Acog and fully kitted outfit and I ran out of food in the middle of a large town and could not find a single thing to eat. I shot a cow just outside of town for some steaks that made me barf for like 10 minutes straight. Then I died of hunger. Fucking horrible game.
