I do apologize for painting with such a broad stroke, but never the less. I understand the issues you had to deal with, but I see too many parents that are just lazy or as I said before "just don't get it, and I also have seen the results of the lazy parents. Kids that grow up and you know they had very little chance from the start. When I was raising my kids I was shocked to find out how many parents had their kids on Ritalin...really!!!! Now some kids need help in this way but this is an epidemic of lazy parenting, not a child issue.

I had two kids of my own and a grandson I raised, none of them ever acted up in public.... and I mean NEVER. my grandson was a wild little kid, but he respected me and I never had issues with him that would make me tie him to something. Being a parent is a full time job, some people just don't get it Being a parent means you don't come first Being a parent means you have to do shit you don't look forward to doing. Being a parent takes effort and consistency. Being a parent means you don't put a kid on a fucking leash, because if you do, it means you really really suck at it, and maybe the gene pool should have stopped with you.

I have COD4 and punkbuster working on Win8 after much screwing around and shutting the firewall off for game play

Well with a lot of screwing around, I can run cod4 with the firewall down and punk buster is now working with Win 8 no problem

keep in mind that if you have external usb drives, some motherboards love to try to boot to them even if boot to usb device is way down the list on your Boot setup in the BIOS, I usually disable it unless it is needed I had servers pull this crap on me after a reboot from windows update.
