  1. You assume that there are actually multiple people involved in this con. I'm not convinced just yet. Regardless of how many are involved in lying to us, we can't take ANYTHING that was said in the past.. names, places, kids, etc... to be true. I agree, and most cons have a reason, I just think it came unraveled before it could be useful
  2. mine was a 66 Chevy II with a 396 shoehorned in
  3. yup, I like the Gamecocks, but I wrote off ND last night with 4 min left in the game they turned the ball over in the end zone (at the time they were down 20-12), I find out later they won in OT WTF!!! go ND 9-0
  4. My COD Black OPs sits on the shelf, have not logged into steam for months, I stick with COD 4 because they dicked up a good thing by their greed. as far as I care, they killed the golden goose to increase profits in the short term. I for one have not spent a dime on the map packs.
  5. Sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family
  6. Also go into windows\prefetch and delete all the files in that directory Windows basically stores info in the predetch on the concept that things you use will be available quicker, but in reality it gets so bloated it slows the damn thing down
  7. well the thing that seemed to work was IPCONFIG /Flushdns
  8. Yes I know how to change theme or highlight, I myself try to make things easier on others, but if you get off on insulting others....have at it.
  9. god you have to change your text color....can't even read the shit
  10. I will check it out, but just the things I have done have made a huge change. How ya been Toes....been a bit since I have seen you
  11. One other thing I was planning to do, is go out and get a good Cat6 cable. As far as other issues, I can do what is in my control, I believe my ISP is the cause of the majority of my problems. Running some tracerouts in the past, I could see some intermittent issues internal to their system......that is another story. If you can prove your ISP is the issue, they start stone walling you rather than give you stupid solutions that they read from a card
  12. I would shop around on Newegg, been doing business with them for years, I have yet to find a better supplier
  13. I been having issues with loosing packets and getting kicked from the server, more often than not lately. Tried everything, and yes I updated PB I found a few things I been working on, and I will fill you in as I go One thing that has made a drastic change (at least on how pages load so far) I went into the Device Manager/Network devices and right clicked on my network card, under properties I picked (speed and Duplex) I switched it from "auto" to the highest setting. I am going to clear my cable modem and set it back to factory settings and see if that helps.
  14. I quit 20 years ago after smoking for years, I quit cold Turkey. One of the hardest things I ever did. I kept the mindset that if I picked up a smoke, I just wasted how ever long it was in hard work at that given time. After a few months, I figured I put way to much effort into it to fuck up now. I knew I had it beat when I went to a wedding and got blasted and did not smoke. It took about 2 years to loose the urge to smoke. If that is not addiction I don't know what is.
  15. updating drivers will do nothing, drivers don't do anything until the operating system is loaded, updating the bios might help. Try cycling the power on the monitor during boot and see if it picks up, it may be a monitor issue. check some of the simple stuff first like loose cables on the back of the monitor and the computer. I found a loose power cable on the back of a computer at work...worked fine until you shut the computer off...go figure
  16. Is it USB ? if so, you may have a device that is causing a conflict, older USB devices can cause problems. Try removing any USB device that is not in use at the time.
  17. stumbled across this guy on youtube....pretty damn good http://youtu.be/pOZHiiNEBxk
  18. I don't need a reason to tell someone FU, so this thread is right my alley FU Ping Lo
  19. Delete all the Prefetch files, will speed the boot up big time. anything in the windows \ prefetch folder is not required

  22. I found that formatting with windows if you want a fully clean disk ( even if you re-partition), will not do it. there are some files Microsoft saves and this has caused me trouble in the past. So now when I want to blow everything off a drive, I use 3rd party software. You ever have an install issue that no matter how many times you try and format, re-partition and re-install you get the same crap? Well if you do, don't format using the windows disk, you will be beating your head against the wall. Try getting some disk tools on-line and format using a 3rd party tool
  23. When I was younger I got around........a lot, my brother was always trying to pick up girls I went out with ( he was older than me)...don't know what his game was, but it was funny when he would strike out
