That sounds like that would cause a huge distraction for you Dean. Sad to say but Dean, the ones you love the most are at times the ones that hurt you the most. Sure you have heard that. Hope he does not do that to you. Your a nice guy Dean.. no matter what Rugger says about you. lol jk but you deserve to see your grandchild..... Love you man!!!

BB... not much you can do. It was a mini stroke.. that is confirmed because of the partial paralysis in his back legs. This happened 3 times in 2006 - 2007. Thought he was done then but he bounced back over a 3 month period. Then heart problems.. thought he was a goner then but the meds are helping. Now this again…. he is almost 15. If he has another my daughter and I proabablIm putting him down. Cant even think of him without shedding a tear. Im a pussy.... I admit it.

Glad my son is ok. 2100 miles is kind of far for big emergencies.

Wow! So glad the step son is okay. Sucks about the car. As for the dog, has the vet offered any advice or meds? I know they have seizure meds for dogs. I hope things work out with that situation. Dogs become like our children and it's as painful to lose them as it is any human.

Well HXTR am sorry to hear that and my world? Well my son has threatened to bar me from seeing my new grand baby for reasons that has nothing nto do with anything but his own selfishness! At first I didn't react very well but will see what happens from here. Next month is her first birthday and I won't be going if he doesn't call me or contact me in some manner to make sure I am welcomed. It really hurts after all the crap I put up withy fromm the ex for sticking up for him all these years. Oh well there could be worse things but right now I can't think of any!

I am accused of being a "grumpy git" due to my complete lack of enthusiasm for anything connected with the Olympics. In addition to despising the way that money has been appropriated, I see them as contaminated by the politicians and corporate sponsors like Coca Cola and McDonalds. It is nauseating to watch Prime Minister Macaroon and "Mad Boris" talking about them on TV. So, though it'll hurt them not a bit, I shall boycott the Games.

You're in the middle of some kind of project around the house, are hot and sweaty, covered in dust, lawn clippings, dirt or paint in your work-around-the-house clothes: You know the outfit - shorts with the hole in the crotch, old T-shirt with a stain from who-knows-what and an old pair of tennis shoes. And you realize you need to run to Home Depot to get something to help complete the job. Depending on your age, you might do the following:

In your 20's: Stop what you are doing. Shave, take a shower, blow dry your hair, brush your teeth, floss and put on clean clothes. Check yourself in the mirror and flex. Add a dab of your favorite cologne because you never know, you just might meet some hot chick while standing in the checkout lane. And you went to school with the pretty girl running the register.

In your 30's: Stop what you are doing, put on clean shorts and shirt. Change shoes. You married the hot chick so no need for much else. Wash your hands and comb your hair. Check yourself in the mirror. Still got it. Add a shot of your favorite cologne to cover the smell. The cute girl running the register is the kid sister to someone you went to school with.

In your 40's: Stop what you are doing. Put on a sweatshirt that is long enough to cover the hole in the crotch of your shorts. Put on different shoes and a hat. Wash your hands. Your bottle of Brute Cologne is almost empty so you don't want to waste any of it on a trip to Home Depot. Check yourself in the mirror and do more sucking in than flexing. The hot young thing running the register is your daughter's age and you feel weird thinking she is spicy.

In your 50's: Stop what you are doing. Put on a hat, wipe the dirt off your hands onto your shirt. Change shoes because you don't want to get dog shit in your new sports car. Check yourself in the mirror and you swear not to wear that shirt anymore because it makes you look fat. The cutie running the register smiles when she sees you coming and you think you still have it. Then you remember the hat you have on is from Bubba's Bait & Beer Bar and it says, 'I Got Worms!'

In your 60's: Stop what you are doing. No need for a hat anymore. Hose the dog shit off your shoes. The mirror was shattered when you were in your 50's. You hope you have underwear on so nothing hangs out the hole in your pants. The girl running the register may be cute, but you don't have your glasses on so you are not sure.

In your 70's: Stop what you are doing. Wait to go to Home Depot until the drug store has your prescriptions ready, too. Don't even notice the dog shit on your shoes. The young thing at the register stares at you and you realize your balls are hanging out the hole in your crotch.

In your 80's: Stop what you are doing. Start again. Then stop again. Now you remember you need to go to Home Depot. Go to Wal-Mart instead and wander around trying to think what it is you are looking for. Fart out loud and you think someone called out your name. You went to school with the old lady who greeted you at the front door.

In your 90's: What's a home deep hoe? Something for my garden? Where am I? Why am I reading this? Who farted?

Deejay the national lottery has been a big scam from day one..
I know this because I used to run coaching sessions 3 evenings a week and every second sunday for 3 years for Tag Rugby and Baseball..
And because I did not charge these kids because there parents could not afford it I was not eligable for any funding that was a total of over a hundred kids a week slapped in the face....
With crb checks and insurance and first aid training it was costing me 5 and a half grand a year but we were not classed as a worthy cause.
So after 3 years me and my missus could not afford to carry on..
To apply for funding you have to fill in a 72 page application have a bank account in the clubs name with 2 signature's have been running for at least 2 years,
Cater for all age groups, sexies and disabled, and prove that you have at least 20% of the kids from ethnic minority's.....
Then you must also submit 2 years financial statements for the organisation and explain how you funded it......
It was total bullshit if you do not have an accountant and a lawer helping you then forget it.....

But the biggest Laugh It was the Major League Baseball who tried to help us out the most by supplying all the baseball equipment...An American organisation not British. They even helped by covering the kids with Insurance. And the rugby league a bunch of wankers who not only charged us £500 each for our qualifications in tag rugby they wanted us to pay them £65 per child a year for insurance........
In this country if you are not connected or paying someone off you do not stand a chance.....

As you admire the stadium, the velodrome, the water sports centre, the Olympic Village etc etc, consider how they were paid for and the people in need who will now not receive help because the Games stole the charity cash to fund the building works. The government now says the money will not be refunded till the 2020s! This is shameful!

"London 2012 Olympics: Charities who lost funding to pay for the Games 'won’t see their money for another decade'
Money diverted from charity funding to pay towards the cost of the London 2012 Olympics will not be returned to hard-pressed voluntary groups until the mid-2020s, it has emerged."
