The register command would always tell me I needed to be a super user to register. I don't know if this fixed it or if an admin fixed it, but @@Thunder try going to your profile on the forums, and finding the link that says "Linked Players" and follow the steps there. I was able to use xlrstats after that.

Anyone else getting this? They moved the PC release date on Steam to be the same as the PS4/XB release date on September 1st (was scheduled for the 15th originally). http://store.steampowered.com/app/287700/ A new trailer is supposed to be out on Wednesday.

Hello, I've recently started playing on the CoD5 >XI< Vietnam FreezeTag server, and at the start of each round, everything sounds fine, but after about 30 seconds or so, this static noise, almost like a wooden fire, starts playing. It overpowers the other sounds that are going on in game. It resets with everyone round. It wasn't just one map, it occurred on multiple maps. Haven't seen this with any of my other games. It is installed via Steam. I was not sure if this was something normal or if anyone else has had this issue before. Here is a brief video with the noise going. https://youtu.be/hVc-stNY684 Also, my game crashed earlier when maps were switching, and then I wasn't able to get back in for quite some time due to a "qport" error. I've searched these forums and someone mentioned making a script (I assume running locally) that would fix it, but didn't ever see a actual post for it.

I believe dead silence is getting moved back to perk 3 tier next version. The only thing I don't like about cars now is that they are protected from all emps when the person has hardwired D: I am so bad at shooting them they usually get me when their time runs out. -

Was this a recent change today? From what I heard this morning, you have to do the upgrade first so your key gets upgraded to Win10 and then you can do the clean install.

Also, there may be people using the true default config still, which includes a super low resolution and some graphic settings that are off. I won't name names, but one person until a week ago didn't know they could set a higher game resolution to make the game look better The only thing I would say isn't really fair are script binds and scroll wheel shooting that allow weapons to fire faster than they realistically should be. I know some mods have restricted how fast a single fire gun like the G13 and pistols can fire. Maybe that could be done with the weapons here that are supposed to be like that. I didn't even have any issue with the default console settings until after the 146 version of FT came out, that's when I made changes like maxpackets and snaps to fix a lot of the missing normal shots. -

You can cancel a reload by sprinting The unbindall command is part of the game engine. Every time you launch iw3mp.exe, it executes all commands in the config_mp.cfg file. Basically the same thing as typing exec "file" in the console. I am assuming it was old legacy code from quake binds getting corrupted on game exit to ensure your game is using the proper binds that you had set. -

I have these set to my plus and minus keys on the right side of the keyboard. So I don't have to type in the console to turn my defroster on at all times. The plus key does the same as typing +activate in the console. Not sure why I have to have the -activate first, but that's the only way it works, even though it won't actually act as if you did -activate The minus key does the same as typing -activate in the console. If you accidentally pick up someone's weapon with it on, just press minus then plus, and it will pick your weapon back up. -

I know it's not. I've accidentally changed my graphic settings to low before in game and was booted from a server for the value being set to 2 because of that. I figured that was the case everywhere. Looks like my kill count will be going, because having that at 2 greatly reduces the amount of foilage and stuff at further distances. -

hacker! ban him guys! j/k I didn't know this server let you have a value of 2, that explains a lot about some grassy maps and why people could kill me when I thought they couldn't see me. Most other servers I've seen only allow 1. Should add a bind lets you turn on/off +activate. Beats typing it into the console. I can post what I have for that when I get home. -
If only we had that size for the freeze tag servers. Oh man, the 24vs24 carnage on small maps that would happen *drools*

Several people got a error: "ERROR: Unknown event: 'hangar'" Not everyone did though, was once I think the entire map, 9 rounds.

After trying it out, I retract my previous statement. Kept forgetting I had +activate enabled at all times D: Never could get a shot off, whoops!
