  1. Yeah; it didn't even matter what notes he was stringing together, to me; just witnessing the flawless flow while he was totally immersed, inviting us along for the ride. Unfettered creativity with the spigot wide-open.
  2. Elvis' best work by far was in Gospel; takes me back to when I went to church.
  3. It's interesting how the tougher cuts of meat, like a Boston Butt, loaded with connective tissue & collagen taste so amazing when cooked low n slow...allowing all that to slowly melt & baste the shit outta the meat. Great, now I'm hungry again.
  4. Do like me a juicy ham!!! ...& some big titties are always a PLUS! =D
  5. At this price, had to get a few more of each!!!! Any good deals in y'all's area?@piglo
  6. ...that his guitar needed a sm0ke; while he was still playing. https://youtu.be/Wtij9_fLhKA?t=148

  8. Here's the most up-to-date information on Windows' 'Your Phone' app functionality - or lack thereof- vis a vis Iphone/Apple mobile devices. Apparently, it's Apple being greedy bastards, making it difficult for software devs to make compatible apps; they want the consumer to be forced to buy their shit exclusively. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/using-iphone-with-your-phone-app-windows-10/fb706c99-a4c2-46e2-8120-3b0416c2553d
  9. Man, I'm tryin' to say. There's these things called emulators, which is a program that mimics another operating system on your computer, so you can run that old system's software/programs; so- for instance- you can download a free nintendo emulator, then download the games from back in the day for free & play them for free; god knows how many quarters I spent in my youth at the video arcade. Well, I started all willy-nilly on the download an emulator & then download the mobile editing app; then there was some Creator Studio drive bullshit somewhere in there, then this update the something or other...I was like: fuck this noise; was as annoying as having to do the other horse shit I was trying to not do. I was, just on principle like: This fucking phone can do all of it, record, smoothly, quickly edit, quickly process, & upload inside of 10 minutes; ;why the fuck am I re-inventing the wheel here; surely someone's made a simple interface for the pc + phone. And they did. So thus my quest ended; as does this TED talk. Thanks for tuning in. Now make sure you post some of this video for us aspiring tr0glodytes.
  10. Well then, "then" them; like: 'Why back in our day'... Aliota shit coming, nudging some inexorably towards the Luddite 'fuck it all' mindset, perhaps. But there's some fun shit in the tech menagerie; making it worth selective 80-20 system ROI.
  11. YESSSS!!! I got like 2 years' worth of video taken with my Galaxy phone that I haven't bothered to edit & upload because of the time-draining hassle of: 1. Upload the video file to my pc 2. Download a video editor 3. Wait for the editor to load & buffer the video file(s) 4. Finally edit the video 5. Wait for 9,000,O00 tears while the editor SLOOOOWLY slogs through processing the project 6. Upload to the Tube. Now: 1. Select video from my phone's gallery 2. Click 'pencil' icon underneath it 3. Edit 4. Upload to the Tube It's appeal is also the streamlined form & basic feature set; just what you need to trim, add some music, basic filters if you like, maybe even some text, quickly & easily. This makes me =D
  12. @WeednFeed It's designed for Android devices; with maybe some functionality capable on an Apple . https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/your-phone-app-requirements-and-set-up-cd2a1ee7-75a7-66a6-9d4e-bf22e735f9e3
  13. ...Bluetooth, but I also connect the phone via its recharge port @ the bottom of the phone. When you left-click the Windows button on the bottom-left corner of your desktop screen, you will find an icon entry for your phone to click, toward the bottom of the menu; I simply drag a shortcut icon of it to my desktop, so I can then access that way. It requires Windows 10 or higher to work. It's a function built by Microsoft.
  14. What makes this nice is I can edit videos taken with my phone using the phone's video editor, from my desktop, without having to load the video onto my pc & use a 3rd-party video editor. Can browse through all yor phone's files & apps...doing anything on your phone from the comfort of your pc & mouse without all that tapping, fiddling & squinting. Also negates the need for an emulator to run the apps. Very handy.
  15. ...that you can control your phone & run your phone's apps from your desktop? So obvious, but never thought of it 'til today...
  16. Up ~10%... could be worse... by the time the supply chain's unfucked, prolly be back down to normal.... also, with people once-again availing themselves of services, instead of cooped-up in their homes, demand likely will subside for goods. Let us return for a look-see in a month or 3.
  17. Liking all the hardwood forest.
  18. Bet it does taste good; especially that tea; reminds me of Appalachian Mountains out East from me. Love the serene quietude of remote areas; you realize how wound-up you are when begin to naturally relax in majesty of such an agrestic setting.
  19. Now imagine, these frisky bastards get upwards of 100lbs...with really long, razor-sharp teeth...could break your neck with a jump &/or take a chunk out of you in the bargain... https://www.google.com/search?q=Monster+goliath+tiger+fish&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS941US941&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwispZ2MkPj1AhUwTd8KHa3TBLAQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1920&bih=937&dpr=2
  20. I'm an avid fisherman, outdoor enthusiast when I take the time...so this is one of the related videos YouTube suggested...I remember seeing this fish featured on River Monsters a few years ago. Sometimes I browse a subject online, & it'll take me on related tangents...for instance, I roast my own coffee & ended reading about a Sulawisi coffee I purchased, which led to learning about the climate & volcanic soil's contributions to the uniqueness of their coffee flavor profies...which led me to learning about different kinds of volcanoes & faults that shape island formation, subduction zones...then...
  21. This is the first question that comes to mind when I see this short clip; I knew fish were smart, but not so smart as to be aware what a human head is & furthermore it being a valid target area. The Goliath Tigerfish can reach ~100 lbs. in weight, sporting razor sharp teeth. They have been known to inflict deadly wounds on humans... even attacking alligators. And it's a freshwater fish! Like a GIANT NIGHTMARE PIRHANA!
  22. As a police officer have you arrested someone you wish you hadn't? Yes, it was in 1967 in Grays Inn Road, London. A man was trying to fight a lamppost then he tried to fight me. I called the van and he was taken to the l station. By this time he had quietened down but was very drunk, I started to take off his coat and noticed the smell, then I noticed movement on his upper body, lice, he was covered in body lice. Making an executive decision I quickly pulled the coat back around him, took him back out to the van and we set off to the local hospital. At the hospital I managed get him on a metal trolley and started to wheel him in. Not fast enough, an eagle eyed Sister saw us and with another nurse managed to grab the head of the trolley. I explained the man was drunk and had body lice infestation and required medical attention. Catching the smell she was having none of it, grabbing the metal handle firmly she started pushing the trolley back into the street. I was at the other end with a colleague trying to push him back into the hospital. This went on for a good few minutes, back and forth. Then the drunk abruptly sat up and from deep inside his shirt pulled out a full half bottle of whisky and started singing. We now started to attract an audience, those not at deaths door in A&E next door came out to watch, the ambulance crew were cheering on the nurses, more nurses arrived to push and we were forced to accept defeat. Back at the station I was not very popular, the drunk had lost his whisky. Because body lice can live away from the body a fumigation specialists had to called in for the charge room and van. I, my colleague, and the drunk became guests of the local authority delousing suite, showered, the drunk given some secondhand clothes and our uniforms subjected to cleaning and heat treatment. The drunk was never charged, I just couldn’t go all over it again in court. EDIT: Wow 1.5K upvotes for a typical day in the life of young probationer PC in the 60’s. I didn’t expect that. Thanks. Mike

  24. I think they come from their villages to Lahore to film this. There ARE cities with electricity in Pakistan, ya kn0w. They, however live on the outskirts, some of them, with just the basic necessities to get by; the channel actually has improved their standard of living. Some of them are illiterate, in the standard sense, but very literate in consideration & gratitude. There are other channels, like 'Trybals' where the people live waaay up in the mountains, with only a hut & their herd, no electricity ... & it takes them hours to come to a city via a motorbike on mountain paths. Great to see their perspective & widsom on different subjects. Their comportment is pleasing, refreshing, edifying.
