Don't need to read about it; my dad brought it home with him. -

You should know better. Why? Please explain. Because: emoji. -

We're talking about facts here, right? You make unsubstantiated implications like they should have a cure by now without any fact-based reasoning as to why, yet ironically question my judgment? Seriously, instead of wandering towards ad hominem like most people without facts, try making a reasonable explanation to support your claim in even this particular statement that they're holding out on a cure. I mean, forget the facts like one you stated that the virus mutates, that it invades the cells of the very system that is supposed to defend a body, that it goes dormant within cells, so that even if all circulating virus is removed it can become once again active in the future (which is also on branch of research). Just throw out a fantastical claim that they're withholding a cure without any factual proof, then 'expect me to know better' because you say so. You do see how utterly backwards your statements are? You're literally saying, unless I'm mistaken: Forget those facts, Tim (without explaining why) you should believe what I do without any scientific proof of any sort (without explaining why). -
Yes, because it's not as 'interesting' as say, cutting the corporate interest rate by roughly 1/2 over the past 30 years from ~ 40% to ~20%, or the fed adjusting the Prime Rate at will etc. That'd be too easy. Has to be some far-fetched story that only a few 'w0ke' individuals are privy to, because that makes them 'special'. Well, you're special, all right. Fuck that science. May you ever stand superior upon those steaming piles of unsubstantiated stories (horse shit). Look a little further & see if these purveyors have a bonus of some alternative 'medicines' or recurring subscriptions you can buy. That'd be really great.

Because the millions of people & scientists everywhere on the planet who have ever participated in the study of the virus & helped develop research & develop treatments & search for a cure have all- over the past ~40 years have been part of a conspiracy, apparently. Mum's the word. The Sun's actually a giant lamp orbiting the earth, controlled by the Bilderbergers or something & they turn it on & off to determine when & how much they want us to work. See how easy that is? Doesn't even require any proof. -

And all those people dying just to fool you all. Boy, that's commitment. And Polio, & The Plague, & measles. Measles. Bet if we start diggin' we'll find it was some sort of social engineering going on there. You know there's 10's of thousands of viruses out there, & the more people in developing worlds encroach upon & eat creatures that have lived & have harbored evolving populations of viruses for tens of thousands of years, the more frequently these zoonotic pandemics will occur. HIV had been circulating for decades in Africa before it finally became a pandemic. But hey, whatever blows your hair back. But if speculation is the coin of the realm, then those are two different conversations. -
Aerobic exercise...walking...it gets the juices flowing & oxygen to tissues that hardly get any during day-to-day activities...especially when in the midst of a sedentary clinical depression. Walk, exercise in some form; & when you feel like stopping, walk a little further. Then one day you realize you don't feel as depressed as you did. This helped with several of my cyclical troughs within the dark valley. Just a matter of deciding & resolve. And counseling, of course.

=( Unconditional positive regard; can't get much better than that. Sorry for your loss of a family member.

Do I have an unhealthy relationship with coffee?
Timmah! replied to Tron's topic in General Discussion
Also depends on the volumetric amount of a cup; many will calculate it at 6 fl. oz. Most people drink 8 - 12 oz. in a cup. Shit, I down at least 2 16 oz. coffees between 6 & N00n. A large Charbucks is 20 oz.... -

That's why I love being a member of the Green Coffee Buying Club. Can buy green beans from around the world as they come in-season; for not much more than the price of Folgers. All it takes is an oven, or an air-popper popcorn popper, a thermometer & a modest conical bur grinder like a Capresso & you can roast, grind & brew some of the finest coffees in the world for cheap. If you've never had a nice Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, wet process; you'd never believe it was just coffee upon first taste. Sulawesi, Blue Mountain, Guatemalans of many sorts, Kona. So many kinds of coffees. It's like the difference between McD & a home-grilled burger, to say the least. A store-bought fruit & one fresh from the tree, vine. Could talk for hours about some good coffee. -
It's hard to take seriously...I find it very difficult to m********e to. G00d lookin' out, though.

It was a joke. (apparently not a very good one)

Was the result of an unfortunate combination of Peyronie's Disease & Dupuytren's Contracture. Sure you're over the hump & have things again well in-hand!

Exercise helped me more than any SSRI's years ago...it was just a Herculean effort to maintain in the midst of major clinical depression. Paxil helped & detracted the most. Improved my mood, but made it hard to get, well...hard. And that's fucking -because not so much- depressing in & of itself. Stuck between a rock & a not-so-hard hard place. But it -exercise- is, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a counselor of my choosing for a couple years, what helped me. That Noonday Demon hasn't returned in 20 years or so; & I'm not looking for the motherfucker, either. =D The best to describe what really must be experienced to be understood was Andrew Solomon in his book I earlier referenced. Insightful opus. Anyways, you guys snap out of it. Should look-up his Book T.V. appearance on CSPAN2...should be able to find it on youtube. That's actually some of the best programming I've watched & I highly recommend it. Except you, Hammer. You're goofy, & that's a whole different subject. Here's his TED Talk. Good stuff.

Stranger shit has been seen in Rust. Ol' Jimbo, me & others that went down that rabbit hole for several months' time have a leg-up on the whole survival thing. If you've seen some of the shit that's taken place in that game. Good stuff. Ain't that right, Jimmy?
