Love to join a lot the Breakfast team also on crysis wars<; <regarding to the GPU temerature og 83 °C on a Nvidia 260, it's normal as the crysis engine is one of the most powerful 3d-engines existing! I also managed to get to 79°C with a 580 GTX on a quadcore in a nice case designed by coolermaster.... Try to set graphics with no antialias or 2x etc to make it heat less... But I admit, I'm always very happy to meet fellow idiots on OUR servers, and the sesign of Crysis Wars is really great! Thankt wizzid too for the good maps!

If the budget is a little better, try the 295 GTX (dual GPU on 1 card), running it for 1 1/2 year, no prob, lots of memory.... On Ebay or else, you might find it for +/- 250 - 300 U$ I think....

And once more, Steam is NOT showing it in their unranked server list, and no way (as far as I know) to add it manually under the "Favourites" tab... How I LOVE Xfire...

Juste asked an offer for Coolermaster Storm Sniper : 245 U$ Asus Rampage III Extreme X58 : 581 U$ I7 950: 427 U$ G-Skill DDR3 12800 6GB 245 U$ Small harddrive + W7 pro 64 bits + install : 355 U$ Providing myself: 295 GTX (that I like a lot, after CRASHING 2 9800GTX in SLI, due to a defective graphic port......) 1100 W Powersupply harddrives and DVD..... Wich means 1447 €uros - 1978 U$ for an incomplete computer.... So now, after looking at the beautiful picture of beaches of our island and my restaurant that Olive put on our site, you can understand thet living under the sun has not only advantages.....

MP is fucked, I agree, twice this morning the whole shit bugged, impossible to have the serverlists - 15 seconds or more to see the XI in Favourites, and then only 1 or 2 show up out of three.... Pings between 50 (impossible from the caribbean to chicago) to 999.... Never saw a game with so many bugs in the MP mod, and never saw so many lag - and graphics problems at the release of a "Game of the Year " - game. The'd better hurry up to solve the problems, otherwise we should suggest T-Ball to go and work for them....

Sorry Idiots, but I would like to thank vigourously all these fine people (TBall - Rugger - Chkn amongst others) for the EXCELLENT job they did in providing us all with technical hints and information to help us out with the lags, core issues and server help for Black Ops. Interesting, but not performing for all, as stated .... I did the operations on my comp, exactly as described, it changed some DX files, I rebooted the system, and now it seems worse... Maybe I'll re-install the complete game, because I had some important Direct X messages the first time I launched... Please be aware all that tis is NOT a good thing for everyone's computer... (Mine: a 8400 E dual core at 3ghz - NVIdia 295 GTX on a P5ND asus motherboard...., with should be more than enough to run the game, and wich corresponds + or - to the tested computer in the above link....)
