Well, my dear fiend Bushape... I will NOT talk to you about the Caribbean Island I have the chance to live on, because we have hurricanes here (For martinique, the last real severe one was in 1978, before that 1963, we had an only Category 2 here with Dean a few years ago, and that's all until now....), but choosing a place to live depends not only on the scenery, but also (even more I'd say) on the people and on the general atmosphere you'd be looking for. The places I really felt well: 1 - A small aera in the southern part of Holland - the eastern part of Belgium, including a small part of Germany : the Ardennes - lovely people - fine food & beers... - a VERY generous nature, with old European Forests, splendid villages 2 - With my bro in Quebec in Canada - the people correspond axactly to what I aim in life for: generous - multicultural - strong identity - and before all a strong aim for quality in (social) life, and a nature that's just perfect for me..... 3 - Some Islands (especially the hispnic ones), as well as some south american countries, for their beautiful and proud citizens (and women... yes I admit), with their sense of hapiness, partying and humour and in many cases a But try not to forget that, even when we have a splendid blonde at our homes, we will always be dreaming about a red or black or brown women in our fantasies, when we are suffering from heat we will be dreaming about a fresh spring or autumn and so on.... Maybe we are not always aware of what we've got, and just don't see the luck we have to live in the place we do! These were my 5 cents bro!

Playing it for the first time since 3 or 4 years... Fun, nice job guys, seeing a lot of our guys around If there is a way, to get all the maps by our downloader or by ftp on the redirect servers, that would just be great!! Hop to C U on sunday....

New downloader works fine for me on CoD 5, the only map I have NEVER managed to download the destroyed village map... Nor when downloading in the XI-downloader, nor inside the game..... It just blocks the game - Ofcourse I deleted the map directory completely everytime, but still no result... I also saw, that when you check all the games at the time (as I play in the CoD 4 - CoD 5 and the Crysis Wars server (and soon the UT3 - server), the downlader bugs, especially with the Crysis Wars downlads. So I fisrst check each game (even the different gametypes as DM or FT together), then I pass on to the second game etc, and then no problems occur at all. Maybe a hint? It still is an excellent program Phantom, thks for this fine job for the family!m

1 : Better DRINK the beers 2 : Make a marinade with : Maple Syrup / Soy Sauce / Garlick / Onions / a little red wine / a little BBQ sauce 3 : Same marinating time (12 hours) 4 : NEVER do ANY sirloin 2 1/2 hours on the BBQ, and NEVER salt in the beginning of BBQ-ing Better put some more charcoal as in the video - "Seize" the meat on a VERY hot fire to make the meat not loose it's juice, and THEN put it besides the charcoal - heap as in the video, bot NOT for 1 or 2 hours, a half hour will doo 5 - Put the spices, except for the salt in the beginning, and add you salt 5 minutes before the end. 6 - Mix some of the marinade in a sauce, based on 1/3 BBQ - 1/3 Ketchup - 1/3 Marinade Bon appétit! Bon appétit!

I have the Siberia 2 from Steelseries... Just axcellent, but NOT usb.... Very comfortable to wear, I wear glasses as you, but no prob at all, VERY good soundquality, and apparently the microphonesound is very good too. BUt hat to pay over a 100 U$ for it (81 €uros in the caribbean)

I went to Dominican Republic, and loved it.... But I did'nt do the touristic circuits, a business friend put introduced me to some people there, and in a few days I discovered a beatiful island, great nature, fine people and splendid women... Went upp to the Pic de Duarte, saw beautiful caves, splendid waters. Never was ill with food. I did not feel insecure, as long as you are aware that in poor countries like these, people need to eat anyway, so never expose shiny Rolex or Tagheuer watches, lots od dollars etc etc. I don't know Cuba yet, but will probably go there soon, was in Venezuela (before Chavez) and could only say the same things as above. Why not consider a French Island, as the one I'm living on (Martinique).. Good (french) food, less poverty, beautiful beaches too.., and not more insecurity than anywhere else in the world. Anyway, whatever you decide, just know that Graffitti has a fine cold beer for you and any other XI member in his bananarepublicfuckinrestaurantinthemiddleofthemarina waiting for you! Take care bro!

A way to work around the microphone staying lit under TS3, could be to "change user" in your windows session, try it out, it might work... Maybe a problem with your integrated soundchip? Never managed to completely use the sound in my old pc (Realtech HD adio), this for the microphone problem... Just an idea! Good luck B.A. !

Downloading the B I G file for now..... How I'd lilke to have a REAL internetconnection... But I think that's the price to pay to live under the tropics :=) Will be seeing you in february 2014 when I finished downloading the 2.15 GB file

Otherwise, what I did, I kept my okd vista disc when upgrading to w7 pro, and I was very happy to find them back in Driveletter:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\usermaps (for CoD 5) and in Driveletter:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\usermaps (for CoD4)

I hereby solonelly declare, that, as an honourable XI member, and finding day in and day out the outstanding capabilities of our Admins, (and coming to the conclusion that that's the reason that they are admins for) that my Hero of the Day, the Week, and January 2011 will beeeeeee.... PT - BAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! I just deleted the existing config-files under the active profiles, recreated the files from 0, testing the graphic capabilities of the games, copied the on my deskboard, and it wotrks

UAC is off under my W7 session, no passwords, no nothing required, it just boots Thanks for the tip for Xfire, at least that's assuring Harry I always like to see the rig up to it's limits, so with the GPU I run, I got FPS up to 500 looking in the sky, and 180 - 240 when moving through smoke, leaves and other complex sceneries... Now I never get more than 250 and 85, even less sometimes, and that is nost normal.... If ever I succeed once more to get the optimal settings, I will certainly try your solution, Bama! Anyway, thanks for these helpful tips, maybe should I lleave this ticket open !

Hi all, I'm having a small but annoying problem. I just changed my rig, was under Vista 64, and now I'm running W7 pro. I reinstalled Cod 4 and Cod 5, and everytime (or almost) I get the ffollowing message (in both games): "Your computer seems to be modified since the last time you ran CoD, would you like the game to config itself for the new hardware? etc etc (this is an opproximate translation of the french version I'm running..) The same problem when I run by doubleclicking oon Xfire server as well as on the desktop Multiplayer icon. When I autorize the auto - config: no more console available, diminished FPS, launching in a resolution far inferiour to my display etc etc. When I apply resolution , antialias and so on, I never reach the quality I am for with the 580 GTX, that I can run far better when running after fail-save mode I kept my Vista64 drive to boot from: same problem on both games. Question 1 : Is it possible, that under XFIRE another configuration is applied than when running directly under dektop shortcut Question 2 : How to oblige the game to choose the best config for my rig, everytime it starts, or everytime I restart the computer Question 3 : Is there a way to force these games to launch in fail-safe mode, as this is the only way apparently to obtain maximum performance from the graphics card again, and how to save this config? Tried to look in several forums, and found no solution... Thanks in advance for your help! I think this is one of the issues that makes CoD 4 not being (completely) supported by Vista and now W7.... I boot vista or w7, sometimes I get the problem, never happens under a XP boot
