    as I run some DX 11 games, under W7, like Crysis 3, my computer just refuses to run WaW or CoD normally, without getting the message "You're computer seems to have changed since the last tilme you ran" , and CoD 4 gets me the same message as yours... Just launchthe game several times after.... No real solmution for your problem, but this is not exceptionnal

    Loved Crysis, loved Crysis Wars, but prefer Crysis 2, really georgeous graphics, and as new maps are being elaborated these days, maybe C2 will lastt longer as stated before. Pondscumz, we are running servers for both at this time

    Steelseries Siberia, GREAT sound, though no 5.1, just stereo, closed set though, but having very sensitive ears and Eustatius problems after excessive diving I cab play a long time with these..

    C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles\your profile name In this folder you should find a config_mp.cfg file, delete it, restart the game (NOT within xfire), and set it up all again.... Then in the options re-activate or re-allow the console...

    Dont know if this is an idea, but since I changed my rig for a new one, including a 580 GTX vidcard, I experienced "Your computer seems to have changed since...", this at every new startup after rebooting of CoD 4 as well as CoD WaW, with serious fps drops. Had to delete everytime the config files (under your profile in the gamedirectory), réassign most of the keys and graphicoptions. This problem seems to have disappeared since I updated to the last NVidia drivers yesterday. Try to increase the com_maxfps to a higher number, this works for me too

    I must say that I am experiencing similar probles, usually had pings of 100 to 130 on all of our servers, and since a few days I go easily up to 200 on a W7 64bit system.... maybe just coincidence ?

    I just love killing you, Dean! I love your humour and implication to this family, and I must admit, that you're the one that initiated me to the knive fighting, just when CoD 4 came out, but unfortunately the pupil NEVER got better than the Master.....

    Well, just downloaded the game last night, strted playing it after some time of figuring out the right keycode to put in the multiplayer mode (purchased it via EA downloader, including a limited edition key), and i can just say one thing: G E O R G E O U S, it's a beauty, it's rich, it's splendid, multiplayer maps are great. Runs really great in fullscreen 1650 x 1050 at 120 hz mode, gra^hics set to the maximum (the 580 GTX is really showing it's power here) Will be looking forward to an eventual XI dedicated server with pleasure, if ever....
