I wasn't going to comment on this because, well I'm a snowflake but this is hilarious.
There was no real pressure on Hasbro to make a gender neutral potato. Hell I didn't realise kids still played with these, I though they were all flossing while playing Fortnite. The decision was made by some suited up, probably mostly male and over 50, board of directors or whatever as a business move. Such a business move undoubtedly creates publicity, which is essentially free advertising for them.
So no, this isn't 'woke culture' at work, it's a very carefully planned out business move and their sales may well go up as a result.
