@iboomboom inviting everyone in the east server to join the west server: I joined the other night and went from 30-40ish ping to high 90s, even in the 110s. I was laggy as fuck and warping across the screen at times. The weed and the wine was great though! I was actually going to approach the admins about setting up a late night server with smaller CQB maps for when there are just 6-12 of us. Sucks when a big map comes up and there are only 3 per side playing. Maybe we could make this server like that?

And yeah I not only listened to a ton of indie "alternative" in the 90s, I spent SO much money on CDs. I have like...$20,000 in coasters worth basically nothing now. And I went to as many shows as I could back then. I think my record one week was...6 shows? I even went to 2 in one night! Oh how I wish I could relive those days... Speaking of 90s...MAN did I ever have a crush on Chan Marshall...

WHAAAAT?!?!? I wouldn't think anyone would know GBV!! Holy shit! I absolutely LOVE these guys. I saw them play here in....'96? They had their styrofoam cooler full of Budweiser and a 40lb'er of Wild Turkey in front of the drum kit. Bob was drankin' like a fiend, doing leg kicks and twirling his mic around in the air like a yoyo. Classic Bob. After their initial set, they came back out and played a 3 song encore to everyone's delight. Went off stage, had a couple puffs off of a cig, and then came back out for a SECOND encore. Everyone was loving it. Then...they came out a THIRD time and played more songs! People were losing their minds!!! And, you guessed it, they came out for a FOURTH encore to play more!! The promoter actually turned on the house lights!! But that didn't stop ol' Bob! He kept singing, grabbing people from the audience and bringing them on stage to sing along. What a hell of a show!!! Such a great memory haha!!! Here's one of my faves...
