Yes. Changed to Fastest on the monitor menu. Ages ago I set my FPS in cod4 to 125. Do I need to increase that to 165 to match my monitor? I can't remember the command, but I believe I ran 2 commands in the cod4 terminal to both change my FPS but also display the actual FPS in the bottom right.

@SharpeGot it figured out! I'm running 165hz now according to testufo.com. I would have never known without that website. Setup is 27" Samsung G32A with 1070 nvidia. Turned off Freesync on monitor settings. Then on Nvidia control panel, went to "Adjust desktop size and position". It already displayed 1920x1080 @ 165hz. However, on "Change Resolution", it was set to 1920x1080 with highest possible refresh of 120hz. Scrolling down that list, there's a section called "PC" and then if I select 1920x1080, I have 165hz as option.

Congrats! I thought you were already a member based on player time on server!

I've seen gas stations charging $0.25 difference for diesel less than 1 mile apart. And they change prices +/- by $0.10 per day. Looks like corporate greed as they are both chains (flying J and maverik). Usually they are comparable.

hello all! been playing cod4 freeze tag for a while. lots of fun. i love getting exploded by bobo's cars with eavesdrop perk so i can hear his laugh!

I got it working! This is the first time its worked and i never really knew this game had voice chat natively. lol Anyways, I think the root of the issue is whatever mic fix I had to do to a long time ago to get cod4 multiplayer to not crash on initial install. Jogged my memory when the new install of cod4 immediately crashes on multiplayer. my audio is realtek, so I guess that's a common problem. I removed my config_mp and it didn't help. I'll uninstall and re-install the game now. thanks!

Hey Ranger, I was watching your youtube channel just now from your signature and saw Biggie UK talking and it showed the speaker icon. I never see the icon/name below the mini map, top-left. So I'm thinking something is weird with my install. My game is downloaded from steam and it says I'm running patch v20.5. The only command I've used is the one to show FPS in the bottom right of my screen and "promod" from the H4X server (I don't think that does anything on XI). Here's what I'm talking about with the speaker icon in the youtube video:

Thanks for everyone's responses. I've got Win10, 2 monitors over HDMI and display port, monitors have built in speakers, and my headset plugged in to the front 3.5mm port. Voice chat is not heard on both the headset or monitor speakers. I hear all other game sounds, youtube videos, etc... Tried 3.5mm headphone jack on back of computer and I still don't hear voice chat.
