AzzKiKr and Buttsecks got the chance to meet up today in the L.A. area 😎

By winning Pennsylvania's Strongest on Saturday for my weight class, I qualified for my first Nationals which will be in my home state of New Jersey next June. I lost 15 pounds this year and qualified for the 308 lb weight class which gives me the option to compete as a 308 or Open.
Here's my favorite moment from this weekend: 310 lb Farmer's Carry (per hand). New PR.

Well Mrs. Smeggie and I are taking a trip that nobody wants to take.
Headed to Eastern Texas to settle my father (who will be 95 in 3 weeks) and step-mother into a nursing home.
Dad is basically blind and my step mother has dementia.  

Neither of them can care for one another anymore, and they decided it's time.....
Probably will be the last time I get to see my dad, unfortunately.
I am sure I will need some in game banter from @ShadyBrady, @Tiger! and @Qualicum when I get back....so be prepared!  😄😎

Last night in server there was a lot of discussion about our Friendly Fire Friday's rotation.
I was asked by many people to post a proposal that was brought forth.
Instead of just Friendly Fire Friday, could we mix up the game type on Friday's, perhaps two a month.
In other words, could we have Friendly Fire Friday one Friday, CTF (Freezetag) on another, S&D (Freeztag) on another,  FFA, pistols only, knives only.
I am just throwing things out there as requested.  Perhaps a poll could be setup to query what folks might be interested.
I thought about posting this on the MOD/ADMIN forum but I posted it here because I wanted to make sure people knew that I brought their question forward.

Hey fuckers. Sorry I haven't been on in a bit. Wife switched to a graveyard shift last year and since then the servers are empty by the time she wakes up (~6pm pst). Don't worry, I'll go get a laptop here soon so I can play somewhere else while she's sleeping. 
Until then enjoy your fake high scores while I'm not there. I'm turning 50 years old this year and only have so much longer to whoop your asses while I can still see good enough. I can't believe I have to wear reading glasses to see the damn screen. That is how long I've been playing this dumb game. From being the best almost 20 years ago (FU if you don't think so), to being an old grandpa now that gets pissed off when I'm not on top and can barely see the screen sometimes. 
Anyway miss all you idiots and I'll see you again soon.

Hi guys, I’m in the hospital with nasty, bad influenza. Everything is okay.The fever days are over-still strong cough —but since I also have COPD and use oxygen when I’m outside and during exertion or physical activity, my lungs aren’t cooperating very well. My oxygen saturation wasn’t sufficient, so I’ll now be on continuous oxygen for the next 7–10 days. Then we’ll see how things look in the end.

You are correct my friend, I will grow old trying to do all I can when I can, Not from doing nothing and hoping to see tomorrow. Hopefully our travel paths will cross someday and we can share our adventures  with each other.
