  1. Map compatibility should be the same as the noacr mod. Maybe a bit better.
  2. The one change that seemed to get the most negative comments was where Hardwired was moved to. That will be moved to tier 2. I think its 2. It is late and I am tired so I get them mixed up. There are minor bugs being worked out. Add something new, like Venom, and some will love it while others will hate it. The ones that hate it was usually the ones that get shot with it. And yes that will be fixed so that it will not work if shot through surfaces. The bullets will work normally but the poison will not. Or will have only a small chance. The original idea was that it was some kind of nerve agent. Venom sounds cooler tho. Not everyone liked Duke either. But I think its great. Same with the mininuke. And on. Often the ones that hate it start using it effectively themselves, get kills, and like it.
  3. Slowly. If however you can heal in 1-2 seconds its not such a big deal. Reviving from SC takes a little over a second I think. iirc the medics in BF are pretty fast. Or they were in the past. In the end tho it should be useful not a hindrance. If LS and being able to heal them doesnt do much for people then I am not sure if its worth it.
  4. People originally hated the idea of the car defrosting. Now people love it. Most people anyways.
  5. In the different games with medics, cod bf etc, how long does it usually take once started? 2 seconds maybe? I dont know. But as for fast paced, if people have time to defrost they have time to heal. Technically speaking, as far as the game is concerned, defrosting is healing.

  7. Ok guys and gals here is what I am going to do. I will move hardwired to tier 2. And... In tier 3 we are going to try Last Stand with various modifications. For one you dont get your pistol until you are on the ground and vulnerable. You cannot be shot while going through the falling part but you cannot shoot back. So none of that firing while invincible bullshit. If you are shot with Venom rounds, or already dying from them, you dont go to LS. You are simply dead. You cannot heal yourself from LS, even as a medic. However other medics can heal you.

  9. I might move hardwired to tier 2. Looking into that today to see if there will be any issues or conflicts. One of the things added to the perk was the enemy uav 'piggyback' ability that shows enemy positions when they fire. So the question is whether or not moving it would conflict with anything. I dont think so.

  11. Stealth and hacker have to be in separate tiers or it becomes near impossible to hack things. Originally had them both in 2 or 3, I forget which, and didnt think about that.

  13. I dont misunderstand. I know there are two types. One is the auto lunge. Which is typically set at 128. That I didnt change. Commando changes the other one from 64 to 128. With commando, because that value is set at 128 already, the auto lunge isnt really used. See screenshot of melee kill at 126 units. .
  14. Yes I know 64 was bumped up to 128 with the perk. 3X is a bit much imo. Which weapon are you using when you try it?
  15. Knife is standard range. Commando doubles it. I dont know if the melee aimbot is on. Trust me I worked with it quite a lot fo figure out a good range for commando. For testing I once set it so far that you could knife 10x longer than normal. Was pretty funny.
  16. Some people dont like the car. Some dont like tubes. Some dont like mines. Some dont like the P90. Some dont like the M16. The list goes on.

  19. Ok for the specing thing. Is this during overtime? If I am in the server, but not on any team, I can follow anybody and fly around (melee key).
  20. Yea I considered two versions. One that is the usual the other that if defrost only. But there are so many other ways to defrost now. Already in a TDM game there are several streaks that are useless. Also so many ways to counter it. To be fair, since this car would not be able to blow itself up, would require some heavy armor or something. However, also keep in mind that the car speed was beefed up pretty good for this server and is much faster than the default speed. Also, explosive radius was made bigger. Could try changing that. Of course those that like the cars wont be happy. Lose/lose. There are different ways to look at things like that. Do you cripple the weapons or equipment of the enemy? Like how they dropped claymores and such from 2 to 1 and fewer grendes because run and gunners were not happy and some did not like spam? Or the sniper pop-up thing because people didnt like quick scopes (like me)? Or do you add more ways to counter what the enemy can do? My opinion is of the latter. So its pretty easy to shoot a car... except that, as above, this server made them much faster. You can disable it with EMP. Or, if you dont get it with EMP it has a short area saturation that will slow it down. Sentryguns and helicopters will kill it. Flak Jacket. Personal jammer.
  21. k I will check the logs and see if I spot anything. edit: Should be seeing some notifications in the game logs but they arent there. Will work on it today. Unfortunately it was one of the things that never got tested in the other mod. Never got full.
  22. I will pop in today and see how spec works. I didnt think about Venom and wallspamming. I might be able to do something about that. I agree it doesnt seem right. As for what to say, people should say what they think. At times things do need to be checked out and possibly changed. Like the Venom thing. The 'pause' was added to deal with some problems related to quick switching of weapons or spamming buttons when activating a streak. I have thought about doing perks like killstreaks. Not sure what that would do for gameplay however. The reason for 'inventory' was to allow more flexibility in perks. Its a whole lot more than just noob tubes. Flak Jacket protection does not go away so it will protect you against all cars, unless a second car gets you while you are already damaged. See Medkits and packs. And yes I have answers for near everything because I put a lot of thought into it.
  23. Well yea. They didnt get them for free tho. They had to make three killstreaks to get those three cars. And I gave you several tools to defeat them. If you wear the flak jacket the car has to be pretty darn close to kill you.
  24. There are a lot that simply wont work. Its a big mod. But the ones that didnt work before will be checked again to see if they do now. One thing about more current maps is that mappers have gotten much better at using limited assets to their fullest potential. In the past that wasnt as important. Same with mods. I spent a lot of time optimizing things as much as I could but there does come a point where it becomes doing a ton of work for very little gain. Unless everyone wants boxes for player weapons. A rifle made up of a single six-sided box is much less heavy than the SMR.
