  2. Bud Light and Blue Moon? There is a reason they are the most popular. Its because Costco sells them in bulk and they are cheaper compared to the rest. Personally I would have to say my favorite beer is Lagunitas IPA.
  3. I saw it happen but not sure why yet. Timing issue somewhere. In any case the planted claymore is there for looks. It has no functions for the laser trip nor can you shoot it.
  4. I have seen that from time to time. I dont know why it does that. Except perhaps it might be related to whether or not you have another streak.   5. A claymore? That is weird. Did it actually plant one? What was the streak assigned to the button at the time? I dont know what the trip wire thing is but it sounds not too different than the typical laser trip for claymores for functionality. For thermal make sure you have a keybind set for it. I know it works for streaks but lately havent tried with snipers. There is a change coming in the next few days. Everything currently from perk 1 (explosives, launchers, 3X etc) will go into its own category. The same rules for grips, smoke nades and the like apply. Everything from perk 2-3 will be disributed to fill all three. Thus far there are three categories: weapon proficiencies (steady aim, stopping power etc), abilities (lightweight etc), and equipment (hacker, tacmask). Which catergories the perks are going into is up to me so no complaints.

  8. I assume you highlight copy-pasted the URL text from the previous post. If you do it will be truncated with the '....' in the middle and not the full address. In the future right click and choose copy link location and paste that. No need to click a box at the top just paste the address.   11. Just want to bump this. To use streaks you must bind all four of them. Not just '6'. If any of the icons say 'unbound' then you have not done this yet. Also make sure you do it for special weapon for the war machine or death machine.
  12. Small config change. Starting perk armor lowered to 35 from 70 for now. So, assuming the SMR and 30 damage (not counting range factors), 30 will leave 5 armor left so full protection. Next 30 will use the 5 armor and damage health by 25 (so 5 health left). It will hurt. In these kinds of cases, when there is 5 left, bandages will come in handy so use them. OTOH, weapons with 40 damage (ak47) will kill in two shots.
  13. Team balance happens at the end of each round. edit: New w.iwd file for a couple tweaks. Check out activation times for RC, Predator and Smartbomb. Shortened them to as little as I might be able to get away with but I need to be sure there are no problems.
  14. Add to above: since there was some question about length of time to use the RC I added the timer numbers and right now the time between pushing the button and release is now 2.5 seconds. That accounts for lowering the current weapon, starting to raise the pad, fadeout, car setup (numerous things happen here that require some time), fade in, and release. I might be able to shorten that a bit but when I do it will require a lot of testing to make sure nothing goes wrong. So if I do this I will appreciate help in testing it.

  16. 2010 accuracy seems good but its obviously not a spray weapon. I like the crosshairs for rds better. Only streak I got, a car, worked ok. No missing streak icons. If streak buttons are assigned, as displayed by the hud, but still dont work try reassigning them. Or if that doesnt work delete your profile. That shouldnt be needed but it cant hurt. couple notes: For game balance, as a counter for its high accuracy, the SMR lower time is noticeably slower than other weapons. So activating a streak for example will take a little longer because it will take a little longer to lower and change to the pad. I was asked about throwing knives. I have the files needed for it, not including the scripting I would have to write up, but it adds some considerable weight to the mod mainly due to all the player animations needed. If enough people would like to change the blue ice color to green or something else post here and I will see what I can do. Lastly.... my aim sucks.

  18. Update: three updated files. modff, w.iwd and i.iwd Hotfixes compiled in. Tho a couple more were just discovered today so there are still a few. BO2 reflex reticle changed to small a small crosshair. streak icons always on. Needs work however for those times when they should be off and then restored. Tell me if there are instances where this should be so. Eventually, when all is working and no problems, when there are no streaks there will be no icon instead of the current 'null' one.
  19. I will be interested to see if this happens to other people. Sometimes it might take a little bit of time for the server and redirect to play nice together. Or for the game to not have a brain fart and get confused.
  20. Update: new w.iwd file. Download worked but after it finished it did it again. Dont know why and checking that out. If it does, rename the old file to w.iwd.old and download it again. Do not leave .iwd at the end as a file type. Main change is a repositioned reflex sight for the SMR. The dot, as before, was already correctly centered. This just makes the attachment model centered and match it correctly.
  21. To help with knowing what streaks you have I could make it, in the future, so that they dont fade out along with the rest of the loadout. In softcore games the loadout is always on anyways so this would be hc only. Eventually I would like it if the 'null' icons are not there but they will remain for the time being during development. Would this help with keeping track of what you have and what keys they are assigned to?
  22. Soon the mod will migrate to the main server and there will be more flexibility with maps. Right now, on the Linux server, map compatibility is low and I cannot test at home since I dont have a Linux box set up with a cod4 server.
