  1. AFAIK in the US by law there must always be two people in the cockpit. If one of the pilots must take a break then someone else takes his seat. Not going to stop someone that has a gun but easy enough to search them all before allowing them to board. The third person doesnt have to be a pilot but just another person in front. In the past there were often three flight qualified people. But that got too expensive I guess.
  2. Was just trolling youtube last night and came across these. I havent seen them since they first aired. The quality sucks because they are old VHS copies but still great. Shame they only did a few of them.   3. Uploaded a couple hotfixes to take care of the non-freezing player problem. Also, Scavenger was giving too many M32 rounds on bag pickups.
  4. Considering a change and looking for opinions. Please be objective. First... body armor is not going away so dont ask. But I am looking into the possibility of having two types in perk 3. So you cannot have both except via gambler. 1: bullet damage. No explosive protection. Works as it does now and depletes as you are hit. Starting armor raised from 30 to 40. AP still ignores. 2: anti-explosive. No bullet protection. Does not deplete. Reduces damage by %40. The opposite of what Sonic Boom adds if the enemy has it. So they would cancel each other out.

  7. Ok uploaded. Some fairly substantial changes so please be on the lookout for issues. First and foremost, everything from perk 1... from v146... moved to a new category called 'inventory'. It has all explosives like rpg and c4, the two 3X options, and the crossbow. The grip and smoke nade lockouts will apply to this category instead of perk 1. Perks 2 and 3 have been distributed among all three as in the post above. Two additions and minor changes. Perk 2 has 'commando'. Which allows a bigger melee range and also no fall damage. The no fall was moved from lightweight so that one is double sprint and faster pace. The current melee range benefit is double but that is too much. Just for testing. Perk 3 has 'gambler'. Choosing this option will pick a random perk among all three categories. Not including the two already chosen. Odds are that you will get another random perk 1 or 2 but this is not guaranteed. The distribution is not set yet so things are subject to change. Since the changes also affect player profiles, due to the new option and resorted perks, the older one will not work right. Perk 1 only has five options and I would like to increase that to six. You will notice a missing option in the perk 1 popup menu. Either by moving one of the others or coming up with something new that is allowed under game limitations. Not much left in terms of weapon proficiencies but still looking into it. To help solve the streak activation problem there is a minor control lockout for 1/2 a second while the pad or cellphone animation raises. This hopefully prevents quick switching or button mashing. Unless you are moving while using the cellphone you wont notice it. Using the pad always freezes you anyways. I didnt have the opportunity to test every weapon so if anything 'cancels' please tell me which weapon so I can adjust the timing. The spas was giving me some trouble but seems to be ok now. Let me know how it goes.

  12. I saw it happen but not sure why yet. Timing issue somewhere. In any case the planted claymore is there for looks. It has no functions for the laser trip nor can you shoot it.
  13. I have seen that from time to time. I dont know why it does that. Except perhaps it might be related to whether or not you have another streak.   14. A claymore? That is weird. Did it actually plant one? What was the streak assigned to the button at the time? I dont know what the trip wire thing is but it sounds not too different than the typical laser trip for claymores for functionality. For thermal make sure you have a keybind set for it. I know it works for streaks but lately havent tried with snipers. There is a change coming in the next few days. Everything currently from perk 1 (explosives, launchers, 3X etc) will go into its own category. The same rules for grips, smoke nades and the like apply. Everything from perk 2-3 will be disributed to fill all three. Thus far there are three categories: weapon proficiencies (steady aim, stopping power etc), abilities (lightweight etc), and equipment (hacker, tacmask). Which catergories the perks are going into is up to me so no complaints.

  17. I assume you highlight copy-pasted the URL text from the previous post. If you do it will be truncated with the '....' in the middle and not the full address.   20. Just want to bump this. To use streaks you must bind all four of them. Not just '6'. If any of the icons say 'unbound' then you have not done this yet. Also make sure you do it for special weapon for the war machine or death machine.
  21. Small config change. Starting perk armor lowered to 35 from 70 for now. So, assuming the SMR and 30 damage (not counting range factors), 30 will leave 5 armor left so full protection. Next 30 will use the 5 armor and damage health by 25 (so 5 health left). It will hurt. In these kinds of cases, when there is 5 left, bandages will come in handy so use them. OTOH, weapons with 40 damage (ak47) will kill in two shots.
  22. Team balance happens at the end of each round. edit: New w.iwd file for a couple tweaks. Check out activation times for RC, Predator and Smartbomb. Shortened them to as little as I might be able to get away with but I need to be sure there are no problems.
  23. Add to above: since there was some question about length of time to use the RC I added the timer numbers and right now the time between pushing the button and release is now 2.5 seconds. That accounts for lowering the current weapon, starting to raise the pad, fadeout, car setup (numerous things happen here that require some time), fade in, and release. I might be able to shorten that a bit but when I do it will require a lot of testing to make sure nothing goes wrong. So if I do this I will appreciate help in testing it.
