    NBC preempted the rebroadcast of the USA/Russia game that was supposed to be on in the afternoon. No way I could get up at four in the morning to see it live and I figured I would just wait. Instead they showed Switzerland even tho the other was scheduled and the viewing guide still said that was supposed to be the game. Ok, I suppose they moved the big game to 8pm but I was wrong and all they showed was overtime. I am quite disappointed in them.

    I wouldnt say 'liberal lies' because nobody I know, liberal or conservative, thinks Warner Bros cartoons cause violence. The only ones that do have an agenda. But that can be said of many people on both the left and the right. The ones on the right that want to blame video games also have an agenda.

    Such as "Helicopter on the way sweetie" type of dialogs? That would be pretty funny.

    Too late? Not at all. All this is going to take some time to do since between the four factions and all the categories there are potentially several 100 sounds. It will also depend on how many submissions and as always there will be sounds that need to be re-recorded because they dont work right in the game. Please pick whichever category you would like. If possible I will get a spreadsheet dialog list finished this afternoon and post it. Just saw the avatar. Powerpuff girl dominatrix? Thats a new one.

    Other measurements, not official of course, take into consideration total medal count of all athletes. So a team of 15 players counts as 15 medals. Which would make winning hockey matches that much more important.

    Just want to repost to ask everyone to use Audacity for their recordings and use the tips above to get the best results. The WMA recorder and format is not suited to this purpose and recordings come out noisy and distorted. Getting the best source sounds is also important because of the need for applying filters or additional sfx. Its not just dropping a raw sound into the game.

    Pretty sarcastic. But schools are a microcosm of society. So do we blame them for being normal?

    It wont bother you if you go into a good Zen state. The world around you simply does not exist whether its total silence or a football stadium. Also a good thing to learn for anyone with nagging wives, annoying husbands and noisy children. Or people in the next room that fuck like horny rabbits. Assuming you dont like listening to that kind of thing.

    You can do "throwing novagas" instead if preferred. One of the other stock dialogs is 'gas out' but that is just weird. In general there are four categories of sounds: Battlechatter, as above. Also the quickmessage "on me!" type sounds. Awards ("Sentrygun ready for deployment", "doublekill") Killstreak activated announcements ("Friendly B2 strike inbound") Objective announcements ("Domination", "Freezetag", "Take no prisoners", "Capture the objective") All of those together is a lot so the idea is that each should be distinct voices from the others.

    I guess that would be the thing to ask during a campaign. Do you candidate whoever believe married gay couples have the right to bear arms?
