Buddy, I have a big-ass fan on the side of my case--also pointing out-- and a fan (never measured, never thought to--also pointing out) at the back of my case. I have two cute little fans blowing air on my RAM cards.
Overkill, however, 'cause I live in Alaska, and the only thing in danger or over-heatin' on my machine is me, lol.
I think that, as long as you keep your machine's innards free of dust (make sure that you blow your fans, too. @@hxtr, take it away, bud), you shouldn't have any problems.
Dust, which is an insulator, is not conducive to proper cooling.
We all like deep-fried chips, or "crisps" if you're in Sweet @@dadda2's neck of the woods, but we don't like deep-fried chips when you're talking about your computer.
