  1. Because Chile I have so many other things to do that require my imideate attention. I did just move and the house need updating so its liveable or to my standards. There's also mapping and helping people out. And trying to teach the head admins that your innocent till proven quilty not the other way around. I could only wish I had the time right now to game I miss the fun. I am giving all the time I can . If its not up to admin standards please let me know and I will post and ask for a leave of absence.
  2. So then you think its the ACP thats doing the CI's ?
  3. How this working out ? Any up date to it ??
  4. Beer's get foit reader and toss that adobe crap in the garbage. http://www.foxitsoftware.com/Secure_PDF_Reader/
  5. Well Grandaddy happy daddy day to you. What I would do is delete thaose files and go into your mods folder and delete any xi mods that you might have. Than try again
  6. LOL jezz now I got a headache Sammy. I can't tell ya what a pleasure your work has been. thank you. I have a wack of questions for you
  7. Download bit comet http://www.bitcomet.com/ in the uper right hand corner search for cod 2 download it and run it. When it asks you for your disk id if you have one enter it you will be fine.
  8. Something along the lines of the mod will read your iwd and then go read the mods iwd . From that the game figures out what to load and how to play the map and mod. The arena file is part of what it goes to read. So if your arena file has a list of maps with game types IE map rotaions, different ways of naming your map , different maps for different game types. If its a balnk arena file the game thinks your the only map . Well something like that. This way the mod does not go and read all the other maps and loads all the other textures and fx's and so on. It's a bandaid fix at best and might not work. The other way is to make small map packs so what the mod reads is smaller. Its a mess.
  9. Ok were getting into the meta side of map ambience here. a mosaic of posters might not be a nice thing or what a mapper wants in his map ? This also brings into being the file size of a 2048 size iwi. Its going to be getting to big for the game to run smoothly. Game will load a bunch of small file much faster then one big chunk. The MW2 mod thing are you talking the stock mod from OW or the one there using @ XI on cod4 ? For botleg I use to worry about it all but what I've ended up doing is just adding to my hearts content. Let it error out then go back and fix it till it doesn't error out. That way I would atleast get close to what I was trying for in my map. I do have 2 maps that I can think of that have close to 40 cuastom textures in them and in WAW the run fine. Speaking as a member of XI I have to say the members love seeing something about them selves in a custom map. Sammy you seem like a smart guy you ever make any maps or mods ??
  10. HUh I wouldn't go past 1024 and that would be for a skybox. 512 is ussualy more then enough for a poster. If you look at 512 x 512 in true size in the game your acuallly reducing the size for it to fit.
  11. Welcome back cranky are we after all that rest and relaxation. I need to know what mods were giving the error and I'll go see if there is an areana file in them. I'll also find a tut or you can about adding a blank areana file to your iwd. Might work might not
  12. I know Y he was in a race with the rest of the letters and came in second because z won
  13. I've read that google sometimes will kick you off there database if they think your scamming there results usuing SEO's if that happens nobody's going to find you. http://kercommunications.com/seo/over-optimization/

  15. Have ya know it's them fine inported beers up here I get
  16. I love amd
  17. it supports am3 as well Socket AM3 processors are able to run on Socket AM2 and AM2+ motherboards with appropriate bios updates, but not vice-versa. AM3 processors have a new memory controller supporting both DDR2 and DDR3 SDRAM, allowing backwards compatibility with AM2 and AM2+ motherboards. Since AM2 and AM2+ processors lack the new memory controller, they will not work on AM3 motherboards.
  18. So here's da wiki for you to read and hold and hug and call him George. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socket_AM2+ Here's a great prossessor for a good price there are others close but for the 10 bucks difference its a good choice. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4615717&CatId=4431 Now a rom for you ?
  19. Hit me up on xfire sunday am early and I'll run you through it labob13
  20. Stop trying to fix your map Boomer it ain't broken. I think the issue here is the amount of maps in the rotation . Yours more then likely the one that put it over the limit. What happens (and I think this is what happened) Is the mod reads all the iwd from all the maps in the rotation. When you add up all the xmodels in all those maps your over 100. Cod4 is so long ago for me but what I think the answer is is to place a blank arena file in the mod iwd. Or maybe remove some maps from the rotation or it might be to place a blank arena folder in your maps iwd. I'm sure Rugger knows all about this. Maybe he just needs a reminder about it. Still I think its my best guess. Hope it helps.
  21. Sammy got it right unique means an xmodel not 100 of the same model. So why the removing of models whats the error your getting ? Whats the problem you have achived. And always keep in mind it's the complecity of the errors thats makes you a great mapper
  22. the 2 seconds it takes Chile is hardly forcing ones self
