Can we assume your fibre connection enters your modem, from the modem to the pc you have a cat 6 cable? Have you performed a Tracert during your issues? This is easy to do google it. Look for very high ping spikes on certain loops(each loop is a different piece of equipment your connection go through before reaching the server) If it’s not a connection thing it could be computer HEAT or Power supply. After these few checks I’m not qualified to suggest anything else.

@Sancho_ Very nice I’m in NB what province are you in? With that many tomato plants you must be preserving them or treating a lot of people! I’ve been known to plant a bit of veggies as well. As you said it’s very relaxing. Took a break last year and hopefully I get into the garden again..

Be interesting to if @Timmah! requires reading glasses? My brother-in-law just had cataract surgery last year on both eyes(one at a time) he chose the more expensive obtion! One eye(lens) for distance and one eye(lens) for reading. at least that’s the way I understand it. EDIT I may have this wrong! After doing some more research he could have gotten special lenses with multiple focus points. I’ll have to confirm because I’ll likely need them in the coming years. Apparently your brain makes the transition from eye to eye as required. Please correct me if I’m mistaken. weed

The first game I played was the MOHAA demo. I had no clue and still don’t. I called myself Really Bug Dog! I was in a server and picked a semi rifle, got kicked! Apparently it was a bolt action rifle only but the server owner had no clue how to block the other weapon choices. That day I was fertilizing my lawn with Weed And Feed fertilizer! I wouldn’t use that type of chemicals on my lawn ever again.

So sad but I believe you all did the right thing for mom! I went though this same thing with my dad. Sad but you all done her proud. The hospice care here in Canada is a wonderful blessing after so much suffering.

We do have another version maybe 2, I actually enjoyed the previous one a lot. So many people complained we reverted to the one we play now. @WldPenguin @Ruggerxi @Roxy! may be able to explain the differences between them. Weed -

Just checked the Nvidia control panel. All working at factory settings. Everything was installed automatically. The GOU recognized the monitor as be g-sync and the installation was seamless. Running at factory settings because I’ve never been one to fully understand over clocking etc.

Not sure I haven’t checked it. The monitor and card just seemed to link up. I suppose I’lll check and explore that later today

A question, do I use a Display port cable and/or an HDMI. I'm not sure if this comes with cables although it should. What about G_sync my card can do that as well. If all else fails I'll read the instructions and G()()gle it.

Been looking at Monitors a bit. My old one is a 32 inch curved Samsung 60htz. I know many posts have been done looking for monitor advice. I’m thinking this is plenty for COD4. My system is plenty to run this game and more. My video card is an Aorus GeForce 3060. Is this monitor good enough? I’m sure the 180hz is more than enough for this old game. Looking for opinions. adding the link bellow
