  1. @Yoshi I have a food saver GAMESAVER I purchased from Costco 5 years ago. The model I have has camo skin on it. I see a similar one in costco.ca but it has lots of recent bad reviews. We seal whole chickens, steaks, hamburgers, corn, as long as these are dry. meat should be partially frozen as I mentioned about the moisture getting trapped under the seal. The manual also mentions putting a paper towel damn to stop moisture from goimg beyond the seal
  2. @Yoshi do you have one of those vac sealers? I love mine they work great. What ever you are sealing it has to be DRY or it will not seal if moisture escapes. Just partially freeze things so liquid will not be vacuumed under the seal.
  3. Get out of here you're to young to have a son that old!
  4. Have you ever heard his real voice? Listen real close sometimes he breaks character, his actual voice sounds NORMAL lol!
  5. You are correct, sadly I was short on a few ingredients. I still ate it lol!
  6. We used to have a wood stove until I was about 8 and dad always had me cooking the meat over the fire. We finally got a charcoal BBQ when I was about 14.
  7. That’s not Tony, that’s his little brother! Damn little brother sold Tony one of those TOILETS hence TONY’s POTTY MOUTH! No place to POOP. JUST SAYING
  8. @Biotech btw Lahem Meshwi means grilled meat Thanks for the clarification Dad still speaks Arabic a bit as he never learned English until he started school. We have a lot of Syrian refugees here now and sometimes he will speak to the kids, stops them in there tracks lol. He only taught us a few words. When he spoke to the older people in the community sometimes they spoke Arabic when they didn't want us to know what they were saying lol.
  9. Well having a hard time with the garden this year. The weather has been ridiculous! Our June started cold and dry then hot as hell then cold and wet with 2 inches of rain at the end of the month. July we received 9.1 inches of rain. I lost most of my corn and then the deer hit what was left. I also lost over 300 onion plants. Better luck next year. Happy to say my garlic harvest is going well Last October I planted over 100 garlic cloves I just harvested less than half tonight. As this is my first try at garlic I’m very happy with it. It is a hard neck porcelain variety called Music.
  10. A picture is worth a thousand words.
  11. My Father’s parents came from Lebanon around 1904 as I’ve mentioned before. One of the great recipes is LAHEM MISHWEE. I believe LAHEM is lamb but we now use beef as lamb was very hard to get when I was young. I made a big feed for my parents. I used sirloin tip steak. It was very delicious.
  12. Sorry I can’t believe I didn’t reply to this thread! Those crispy wings look great I believe I’ll be try those in the near future! Thanks for sharing Wayne
  13. One of the great bands of that vintage!
  14. I’ve written about this several time! Being an Admin can really be a THANKLESS job and yet our Admins soldier on. Just imagine trying to enjoy a few moments in the servers to unwind! Yes we all know at times questionable players do what questionable player do. I was an Admin many years ago in another clan, taking on those responsibilities really distracted from an enjoyable game play. The constant accusations, investigations, specking suspects really takes from one’s enjoyment. I also was a Supervisor in my real life working at an oil refinery. Not unlike an Admin a Supervisor has to wear many hats. People expect you to be a Parent, a clergyman a councillor a teacher a sympathetic ear, people expect you to be the answer guy/girl. People expect you to have all the answers, Lord knows the answers will never satisfy everyone but when one has taken on the responsibility of Admin or Supervisor you better have thick skin. Nothing in life or gaming is simple. There is always 3 sides to every conflict! It’s like a divorce, there’s her side, his side and the truth lies in the middle somewhere. Both parties will always think they were cheated, that’s why lawyers make so much money lol. Again I’d like to go on record saying our Admin’s have a very hard and sometimes thankless job but for the most part they get it done. I thank you all for the many hours you put into our clan. Im a mediocre player at best, I’m 64 and I really love Freeze Tag over all other gaming mods. WHAT I KNOW TO BE TRUE, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE PLAYERS WHO ARE YOUNGER FASTER AND JUST PLAIN BETTER THAN ME. Just because they are better doesn’t mean they are cheaters. I’m ok with that, after all we are playing a video game! Sincere Regards Wayne(Weed)
  15. Received my tag in the mail! Purchased and printed off the license on line! Last weekend we scouted the area, saw 2 moose, a cow in a beaver pond and a young bull laying in a mud puddle in the middle of a woods road. We also put out 2 trail cams.
  16. @RobMc take it easy on the meds! lol
