  1. I cant get it to play to see... registered and everything
  2. Ok, so, as most of you know, I have been following the Canadian rock band Monster Truck for a few years. This band has captured my heart and soul. They supported my weight loss journey, they have been amazing guys all around. Well tonight I got to see them in concert for the 1st time in 9 months!! They been working on a new album and shit and are getting ready to drop it so they did a show in Toronto. Half way through the show the lead guitarist gets on the mic and thanks everyone for showing up, then he says "We have some of the best fans in the world and we have some of them here tonight in the crowd, 1 in particular is our biggest fan, James from Cambridge in the front row here is our biggest fan by far" At this point I am over the fucking moon! Im thinking they are gonna dedicate a song out to me, they did that 2 years ago on the show, then this happened "James, ya wanna come up here and rock Shes a Witch with us?" HOLY FUCK!!!!! Ok, if you are a fan of music and have a band you love beyond belief, most people heavily into music do, your ultimate dream if you play an instrument is to play a song with your favorite band. Not too many people actually get the chance to do so. Well I did, and I took it, and I fucking rocked it!!!! So, im shitting bricks making my way through the crowd to chants of "James James James James" no fucking shit here people, my friend has video I will upload when he gets it up on his Youtube channel. I got up on stage, got hooked up with one of Jers (the lead guitarist) classic '67 Gibson SG's and I fucking rocked it!! I fubbed a little bit, but luckily they had Jers guitar slightly louder than mine so ya cant really tell, but I fucking did it!! to a SOLD OUT HOUSE!!!!!! I fucking rocked it, i took my cheers and got hugs from all the members and back to the front row I went to rock out with a huge smile the rest of the night, i have literally typed this with my musical boner!!! Heres a pic emailed to me, dropped my email to bunch of people so will have photos and videos coming in tomorrow or the next day This is me shaking hands with the lead singer/bass player

  8. you hacking camping waste of vaginal skin! That better?? LOL, fuck em all brother!!
  9. I go to a SHIT LOAD of live gigs. 20 + a year normally. I love live music but I am very selective in what I like and where I see them. I like small venue shows, so I like little known bands, up and coming bands, I refuse to pay large money to see these big name bands (Only time I see them is when I win tickets on the radio, which is about 5-8 big shows a year) I love Canadian rock, there are a ton of amazing Canadian bands that cost average of $25 to see. And even less in some cases. The younger up and coming bands try harder, put on better live shows, and dammit, I love the new music! Take for instance this killer up and coming band from Australia.... The Lazys, heavy ACDC sound to them, very guitar riff oriented songs, AMAZING live show. I will be seeing them in Toronto in a few weeks... $16... then in Waterloo a few weeks after that I will see them again, $15. Just bought tickets for my favorite band Monster Truck in May.... $35 The Glorious Sons in May, $28 I go to high energy band shows live Keep it under 2000 people and I love it! And they still put out kick ass rock videos lol!! Lots of amazing live rock out there, screw the oldies, they done it, its nice to see as a nostalgic thing, but the price aint worth it with others putting out amazing shows at a fraction of the cost@
  10. Couch? I ran the race and am now in at work for a 12 hour shift!!! Hardcore to the core!
  11. Well, as many of you know, for the past while I have been training for a 5km race, does not sound like much, but when you add into the fact that I am 43 years old, and 2.5 years ago weighed in at 390lbs+ and have lost 140lbs in last 2.5 years, its a bit of a big deal to me at least LOL!!! This race is THE oldest race in North America beating out The Boston Marathon by a few years! The winner of the 5km came in at 14.5 minutes!!! The winner of the 30km came in at 1 hour 24 minutes!! Throughout training on my own I started at approx 50 minutes with a combination of walking and jogging on treadmill to reach 5km (3.1 miles) My goal after 3 months of training was to be below 40 minutes and be able to do it non stop My last run before the race I was still at 41.5 minutes. but I was doing it non stop, So i was perfectly happy with that! Today, yours truely finished the race with an official time of.... 38 minutes 32 seconds!!!!! CRUSHED my personal best!!! Was so intense and such an amazing time today! On top of it all, through my journey I managed with the help of many here and throughout work and my daily life (and even some random unknown people) to raise over $2000 for the Y108 Children's Fund. A non profit organization run by the radio station who has been supporting my weight loss that helps children in the area!! It has been a win all around journey!!! I will for sure be keeping up with the running, gotta beat my time for next year!! A few pics of race day and a pic of my official time!!
