@Jay80_NL Why do you act as though I am anti gay when i stated that "I am not anti gay or lesbian or whatever" ("whatever" would include transgender) I am fully behind gay and lesbians having all the legal rights that a hetero couple have. Insurance companies and pension funds ect. should recognize these relationships and transfer the assets to their partner.upon death or serious illness. I included this line " I'm not anti gay or lesbian or whatever" Because I do recognize that >XI< has gay and lesbian members and I wanted to reassure them that I am not anti gay and lesbian or transgender or whatever and this post wasn't about being gay or lesbian it was about Bruce Jenner and the media hype surrounding his "transformation" you said "She now is a transgender who happends to be gay....'' When ever a man becomes a woman and still likes men that man is gay because genetically he is still a man. I am guilty of mentioning Gay and lesbians in my original post but not for the purpose of "bashing them" I made the reference for the sole purpose of not being misunderstood by our fellow members who are gay or lesbian. The conversation veered away from the original topic and began to focus on Gay's with your post "What has this to do with gay???? This has nothing to do with gay what so ever.... It`s called transgender.... She now is a transgender who happends to be gay.... I think you deserve the credit for the conversation going off topic . . had you not posted these comments the conversation would have stayed on topic. you said "Let me tell you something; My relationship is just as mainstream as yours, ok, i fuck dudes, so what? If you could take a moment and read back I said " I just think what you do in private should stay private'' Why did you feel the need to tell everyone reading this topic that you "fuck Dudes" isn't that something that should be considered private? Mr Pete, While it is true that the media is a mirror of our society that mirror is often times distorted and the content may be true but grossly exaggerated Obviously transgender people exist but not in the numbers that are portrayed in the media and on TV. An example: Hollywood and the TV media exaggerating the prevalence of the number of gay couples with adopted children and trying to convince everyone that this is a Modern Family. I challenge everyone who reads this to count the number of "Modern Families" in their neighborhood or if they even know of 1 of these types of relationships and would wager that the number is very small if at all. I have noticed that nearly every movie that has been released in the last 5 years has some reference to gay or lesbian activities even if it doesn't add to the plot. I view this as an attempt by a very small minority to desensitize their viewers to accepting gay and lesbian relationships as mainstream . . . . . .I'm not bashing the gay and lesbian community in any way ( I'm actually rather fond of lesbians . . ) i'm just saying that the TV media warps things to meet an agenda they have. So to make the statement that the media is a mirror of our society i would tend to disagree. The media attempts to control the way people think about things and you have already stated the solution to keeping them from trying to control our thoughts . . . . . ."turn off the TV" and they wont get your attention.

The 7.3 diesel is an animal but unfortunately the auto trans isn't. Get the trans cooler or stay home and camp in your RV in your driveway. Because your at the towing limit of that truck the brakes will be working hard to stop that rig and the 5th wheel has a braking system . . .use it. Its not a question of IF you WANT to spend the money on the brake controller you HAVE TO spend the money on that brake controller . . I mean come on if your watching your budget that closely you cant afford the trip. Its important to consider the other families on the road enjoying their summer vacation. Just wondering what an idiot thinks about the transformation of Bruce Jenner. For me I just cant see him as woman . . nope. . just cant. and if a chromosome test was done wouldn't he still be a man? All the media coverage of this story is proof the media doesn't know what is important to the American People. The people would best be served by a media that revealed the problems of our government and focus on who is doing something to try and fix it and not a Olympic medal winner that decides he would rather dress like a woman. I'm not anti gay or lesbian or whatever I just think what you do in private should stay private. More attention needs to be given to remembering this day by teaching our young people the importance of this mission. Its a shame that today's youth don't have a clue as to what happened that day and the sacrifices made by so many. The hell that awaited these brave soldiers as they landed on those beaches is one we all will never know. Personally when I see people that show no respect for our Veterans or treat Memorial day like just another day for a barbeque it pisses me off. If it wasn't for the people that have laid down their lives to preserve Freedom the people of this great nation might not be "allowed" to have a barbeque and might be speaking a different language. Many times while growing up in Southern Calif I seen the flag of Mexico flying at the top of the flag pole on Memorial day and fourth of July and yes these people have the right to fly any flag they want when ever they want and perhaps they were honoring the veterans of Mexico's wars but, In my opinion these people would not be living in this free country and enjoying the liberties we enjoy without the sacrifices of American and Allied soldiers. While in America respect the people that gave you the freedom you have first. and yes @@Gatorgirl lets see some ID . . . . . . .
