    LOL, sorry Hans, reread your post. I missed the part about teaching kids to NOT open doors to strangers. That's why I'm an idiot...lol!!! We do the same here, it's just that help is so far away. Two deputies for the whole county. You just can't count on the police to be everywhere at once. It's too bad everywhere can't be like Holland. Grolsch for everyone!

    I agree. Grandpa & dad taught me how to shoot. Everybody I knew had guns & knew how to use them. Never gave it much thought until the Politically Correct arses came on the scene. Chicago has finally admitted to being the murder capital of the United States. Rahm admits to at least 5000 murders since 2002, and Chicago bans gun ownership. Hmmm, do you think gangs & drugs might be the problem, rather than guns alone?

The race card has been played to the point of being meaningless. Just because you disagree, doesn't make you racist. We're ALL sick of the labeling that goes on with disagreement. BTW, this thread had NOTHING to do with racism. It had EVERYTHING to do with a father's rage at what was happening to his daughter. Both the father & daughter will be scarred for life. Let's pray for them & their families.

    Says the man who lives on an island. Wouldn't it be nice to have a huge moat around the United States? Unfortunately, we don't have that luxury. What we have is a government that refuses to enforce our laws & sovereignty. A terrible event has happened, but kudos to Texas for doing the right thing. Prosecuting the father for defending his daughter would have been a real tragedy.
