Once she came home & started work on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, my wife & I both dropped our facebook accounts. Just don't give two shakes about old classmates & divorced girlfriends. Might add some shares to my portfolio, but it's not gonna be a majority investment. Thank you all for the Economics lesson. Don't know how I made it this far w/o the XpErT advice.

I'm not saying there isn't a chance to make money, but what is it based on? This is gambling pure & simple. You're buying into an idea, nothing more. No tangible assets, no hard product. No dividends, no promises. Apple makes product & software. Burlington Northern SanteFe has property & equipment. Caterpiller offers a dividend & has manufacturing plants world wide. Facebook has......? Couple of billionaire marketeers. Intent on making more money. I guess wealthy isn't good enough. I'm watching the stock, see if it swings. Buy low, sell when you feel comfortable with the profit, and don't worry about the money you could have made.

I agree. Seems like people are quick to forget the 90's. Dot coms with nothing behind the name. Gonna have to actually produce a product, have equipment, and real estate, before I'll invest. Yep, I agree with da General. Guests should remember they're guests. Last Saturday I was on the TDM server. Got shot on a sniper map repeatedly by a "guest" who was using a PPSH. Hmmmm, that raised an eyebrow. While this was happening another "guest" was hosing down the spawn sites with a BAR. Hmmmmmm, a third "guest" whom I frequently mute, was barking orders back & forth. Between the cheaters and the loudmouth, I left the XI servers altogether and logged onto No Mercy's HC server. Shame, but I didn't have all morning, and wanted to get at least ONE fun game in. BTW, thanks Spanky, glad you could accommodate LOM.
