TheLastColdBeer got a reaction from BigPapaDean in See, No Need For A Gun To Commite A Crime
Well, it didn't say what kind of hammer he brandished. If it was a framing claw hammer, I wouldn't be above taking it away from him. A 3lb engineer's hammer.....hmmm, that can cause some serious damage if it connects. JK, Kodos to the Marine who stopped him.
A few posts back I mentioned a Louisville slugger we keep under our bed. Also keep a bag of regulation baseballs. Whenever Lori wakes me up because she "heard" something, a baseball goes with me. If you've ever been knocked by a baseball thrown 60+ mph, you know what effect that can have.

TheLastColdBeer reacted to Astronomer in Should Lance Armstrong Go To Jail?
He sued a British newspaper for defamation when they accused him of doping. He won, and had to pay. He needs to re-pay them with interest, legal fees, damages, and suffer any penalty relating to his perjury. Any instance where he lied under oath should be dealt with under the law. If there are any US laws requiring penalties for doping in sports, try him in an open court. His celebrity should have no factor in this. Try him for law violations like any one else would be tried.

TheLastColdBeer reacted to Joe Canadian in Stupid People
I wouldn't really care about pi, Aristotle or relativity if I had a cute chick in front of me in a bar..I would be more interested in putting my hand above her knee and in the law of gravity and conservation of momentum

TheLastColdBeer reacted to GorillaXI in Stupid People
Yeah she was sort of cute for a mid state North Carolinian. But when she was spewing this garbage from he mouth I was really turned off. I had to leave before I insulted her.

Been using .785 X D² instead of pi R² for circle area. First I heard of that relativity is X instead of E=MC². Is she cute Gorilla? How many drinks have you bought her? You know, some girls get a little flustered when you put your hand above their knee.

TheLastColdBeer got a reaction from LordOfChaos in Charles Dickens
Been reading old classics that I avoided in my youth. Finished Great Expectations by Dickens the other day, and it was a page turner. One of the few books I've ever read that brought tears to my eyes. Loved A Christmas Carol, plowed my way through A Tale of Two Cities, enjoyed Hard Times, and have Oliver Twist & Bleak House on que next.
Love a story that rings true no matter what the era. Times change, but people will forever remain the same.

Better not target homes with fridges full of beer. First thing I'll lay hands on is a Louisville slugger & swing for the bleachers.

TheLastColdBeer reacted to ENG4INE in New Gun Nut Medal! Get Yours Today.
Anyone who loves the their guns and would like the new "Gun Nut" medal please respond to this post. The idea of the "Gun Nut" medal was inspired after a fellow member called me a "Gun Nut" lol. I am a proud "Gun Nut" to say the least. Big thanks to @@RustyRifle for putting it together!
Please do not turn this thread into a political debate. If you would like to debate guns I have several posts up on the political forum where they belong. This post is simply for those that love guns and want the medal. Thanks
