You can select multiple options for the first two questions and a single option for the final
This thread is being made to help the senior team gather some data up on communication services you use for gaming and to then assist us in finding a replacement for Xfire. This is quite an important decision for XI as Xfire played an integral part for the community and is one of our membership requirements. Whatever decision is made will replace that requirement and will have to be applied to existing members.
The requirement in question: "Need to have and use either Xfire, Steam or Origin and have our Admins added (for the appropriate games you play)". So for Battlefield that is Origin, Insurgency is Steam and Xfire is the Call of Duty series and Minecraft. We need a replacement that will allow the members of the Call of Duty series to communicate together and that includes non-members.
I have added a poll that will help us determine the replacement, please spend the time to answer it as this will affect the membership requirements. Once we have this information we can better judge the replacement.
If I have missed anything off then please reply so I can add it.
The ideal service would be something that allows us to create a group that would allow members to communicate without being friends. This would be needed to contact admins. Ideally a second group for non-members would be useful as well. Text chat is a must, group text chat would be nice but not essential. Video and screenshots are both on the nice but not essential list also.
Thanks,
