    I have removed the link in the first post. Although we don't have that many 'content' rules on here - the blatant spreading of obvious piracy is one of them.

    The servers are sending the info and are in the server list - simply it is a long list. If you search in the tags for 'idiots' or 'xi' or 'xtremeidiots' you should be able to find them.

    Is internet explorer being used? There is a bug with copying/pasting for the new version of IE that could be the cause.

    They have been there, its always the way after an IP change that we get a drop in traffic. Currently its just the 600 or so regulars that have been playing.

    Doubtful, that is the top left of my background image. It is most likely some incompatibility somewhere which will hopefully be fixed with the next platform update.

    We need the ability to communicate over mic in the event we need to sort out a problem and to allow for a means of communication other than written text; that is the main reason for the requirement and is coupled to the requirement that a member needs to have Teamspeak installed. It is not a requirement to use them in-game or to be on Teamspeak when playing.

    The mechanics behind the downloads are the same no matter which server you connect to. The downloader allows you to get all of the maps withoutjoining the servers.

    That aspect is unrelated to the server, if you end up with a 12Kb/s then you timed out connecting to the redirect. If it happens allot the try the downloader.

    We are in a bit of a limbo with that, due to the corruption I have started from scratch so everything is still pointing to the old DB. I added a security feature a while back where admins IPs are checked with the cache of this website to ensure their GUIDs cannot be hijacked - this is not functioning 100% yet with the new server. Keep an eye on the topic in the admin section for updates on that side of things.

    @@Scoarch The old server was in New York, the physical distance is about 500km which is about 8 - 10ms. You are right on the west coast correct? I would have thought an increase but not as much as 75ms, even so under 200 is playable - if not we still have servers near New York.

    Gametracker stats will move over when I get home (I forgot them). In game levels will be the same as the mod is the same. Xlrstats will return as the admin system/B3 bots will work on this server.

    Additionally to ensure we have no bandwidth issues we are on a gigabit uplink and the speed tests I have ran have been very promising.

    We have countered the higher pings for Europeans by selecting a host with 5 cross Atlantic connections. They have an extensive backbone network through Europe. As such the ping may be higher but the connection should be more stable as players will join the backbone earlier. There are four connections from Europe to the US and the fifth is from Europe straight to the data centre.
