All depends on what you are willing to pay. I have 6 M-1's. 5 of them are WW II era with the one from Miltech a reconditioned Winchester and one a recent remake by Springfield using several original parts. Winchester's seem to cost the most.

I am undecided about the Jeep Overland or SRT8. My dealer knows to call me when the 2014's hit the floor. Don't want a 2013 being so close to the newer models that have significant changes. I'm told maybe April for them to hit the floor. Lot of HP in the SRT8, do I need it? No. Do I want it? Maybe. Will need to look at both. I currently have a 2009 Grand Cherokee maxed out and a 2011 Toyota Rav4. I will be trading both in and going down to one car.

I prefer to deal with nature au natural, I don't like any artificial type bug killers. I especially do not lie those those indiscriminating bug zappers. Too many harmless bugs like some beautiful moths who harm no one are killed. It's nature, deal with it. Besides these things not only indiscriminately kill they draw in swarms to their presence.

This is a significant point. Soccer can be played as long as you have a ball to kick around and probably 4 players would suffice for a game. You don't even need shoes in many places. The cost for kids to play soccer I would expect is a significant factor especially in third world countries where much of the population is poor or in poverty. No doubt the minimal expense contributes to popularity in many countries.

SB: I will stick with my comment that I agree soccer is more popular worldwide but IMHO American Football and even Rugby are better. I take it as a question with two different answers. And if we restrict it to my home country American football is far more popular. Soccer in the U.S. is still somewhat of a girly sport but it is gaining respectability. And he did ask which is "better" along with "more popular". To me a two part question soliciting an opinion.

Wait a minute SB, can't let you slip by so easily. He asked which is the better and more popular sport. Among many other questions. I'll give you the more popular but not the better sport. Better belongs to American Football. And as referenced in a couple of posts I think Rugby is also better than soccer. There's my minority opinion on a issue I would probably lose on the world stage.

Soccer is for Soccer Mom's. Nuff said.

Randall, I see you are from New Jersey. Perhaps you may want to visit the Yuengling Brewery in Pottsville PA, it would be a nice day trip. Damn place is built on the side of a hill. Yuengling is Americas oldest brewery and family run. I also feel quite comfortable in saying it is, by far, the most popular beer on the East Coast. And do not be mislead by all these non-American beers. Remember what you get in country of origin is often of better quality and composition than when it is an "imported" beer.

Very nice being able to customize like that. Makes it personal. Good info, might be a source for a nice gift for my son. Have to decide to order myself or have him order and I will pay for it. That is probably the best option if the goal is to buy a gift the recipient wants. Just like Xmas, gift cards for the adults and gifts for the kids.

Seems the merits of home schooling depends on the quality of available schools and the ability of the parents to fulfill the task. Seems it would require a lot of self discipline by the parents.

The Russians also made extensive use of laminated stocks and actually many KAR's also had solid wood stocks. In the below pic the rifle second from bottom with the sling is a Russian Mosin M44 from the Izhevsk arsenal with a laminate stock. Laminate stocks are much more stable in foul weather.
