  1. The bitch will usually now just what to do and you will just be on standby.
  2. Any of you boat people have an opinion on this one: http://www.boattrader.com/listing/2008-Four-Winns-Horizon-180-98672287
  3. Thank God the Poles have become popular dumb joke nationality, sort of pushed the "Dumb Swede" jokes into the background. Now here comes Wolf resurrecting the past. Shame of this is that it's probably a true story.
  4. DEEJAYKEG I applaud the dignified reaction of the Norwegian people who will emerge stronger after all this grief and pain. There is no guarantee that that will be true, there is just as much chance of the opposite happening. I have little doubt that the action will cause some kind of reaction. Only time will tell.
  5. Here is my Remington 700 Sendero in .300 Ultra Mag.
  6. I do not believe him, bruises do not look like ones I have seen often enough from beatings. I think he buggered himself up in the hole where he may have dropped his cell phone. A gang taking it and throwing it down a grated hole does not sound right. And now with his injuries he can't remember much but he can remember the gang throwing his cell phone down the manhole. This would rate bogus on Snopes.
  7. Many of us think we are too liberal here with our criminals as can be seen in another post on the death penalty. Well how would you like to be in Norway and have lost family to that idiot who killed all those people and admits to doing it? Did you know the maximum sentence he can receive is 21 years? No life sentences, death penalty in Norway Sachedina said the typical maximum sentence for criminal offences in Norway is 21 years. The country does not use capital punishment or life sentences in its justice system. So much for Liberal laws. It just is not fair to the families who have lost loved ones.
  8. That video is the way to prove a hacker from a good player. I would have no mercy under any circumstance with a hacker. But I also hate to see good players called hackers. Good job, hope whoever it is is gone forever.
  9. CHKN death is like swimming in an eternal tranquility lake, why would u give him that opportunity ? he should have been shot before. ????????? I would not know. Depending on your faith or lack of faith I suppose there a lot of various opinions about what it is like to be dead. I once had my heart stop for 16 minutes and I did not see any bright lights, tunnels or long gone family members. I'll take my chances and terminate them if they deserve it.
  10. GorillaXI Eye for an eye. That is the one thing I like about the Muslim faith, they do not mess around. You steal, get your hand cut off. Throw acid in someones face, you get the same. I wholeheartedly support the death penalty for a multitude of crimes. Premeditated murder of course. Child or elderly abuse too. Crimes with a gun even if youwere a bad shot and the victim does not die I support the death penalty, intent to kill alone is enough for me. Casey Anthony? Don't get me started. One more thing, if someone in your family is murdered then someone in your family should have first shot at pulling the switch that sends them on their way. Obviously I feel revenge is a good thing for those left behind.
  11. Time for some Country! A little bar song: Don't want to leave out a woman's classic:
  12. Pegleg302 Nice Ruger Scout,ENG4INE. Here is my fave,'54 H&R DCM M1 Nice looking M-1, looks refinished? I have several C&R M-1's, one from each manufacturer, also the Springfield remake from a couple of years back and a Winchester reconditioned by Miltech. FYI the makers of M-1's were Winchester, Springfield, International Harvester and Harrington Richards. My WInchester is first year issue, Jan 1942, below. Very hard to find full matched M-1's, most have seen armory work.
  13. Here in PA a State of PA boater safety certificate is required, I do not at this point know what it entails. Fiberglass will be my choice, also I/O. Mercury.....got some negative comments. Bayliner seems to be getting the short end of the stick in comments here. Not sure why. Any specific issues with Bayliner's? If not Bayliner which should I favor? Unfortunate part is that my closest Marine dealer is a Bayliner dealer. I need to do some research on Marinas. I do not want to buy from a salt water marina. Thanks for the input.
  14. Darn, did not have time to stop and look at boats. This is where I will visit and a link to their pre-owned boats: http://www.highwaymarine.com/pre_owned_list.asp?newused=U&mfg=0&category=0&TypeID=0&ModelYearFrom=&ModelYearThru=&PriceFrom=&PriceThru=&lengthMin=&lengthMax=&feetmeters=feet&s=search&industry=2&submit_form.x=18&submit_form.y=8 It;s not too far from my house.
  15. Deerejohn, yes, I am in the Poconos and for many years my parents had a lake front home on Lake Wallepaupack. So thanks for the link. From the rest of the posts I am thinking more inboard motor, the comments make sense. When I was a kid outboards were the thing, Evinrude, Johnson and Merc. Tomorrow on my way home I plan to stop at two boat dealers, one at Lake Wallenpaupack and the other near Quakertown, PA. Just trying to get my feet wet and gain a little experience on what my needs and costs will be. I doubt I will buy for this years season but suspect late fall would actually be a good tome to negotiate. Obviously I need to go through an educational process on a decision like this. I might even surf E-bay. because of my business travels I have a larger market area to work than many buyers. Thanks for the comments, all are appreciated and considered. One more thing, should I trailer the boat instead of a slip rental isn't it difficult to launch a boat by yourself? I was spoiled as a kid, we had a private dock and no need of a trailer.
  16. I am considering buying a boat for water skiing and casual family fun. At one time my parents lived on a lake and we had an outboard ski boat, a Winner fiberglass with a 60 Merc. At this time I am totally out of touch as to what I should consider. Money is a concern, I would like to stay under $25,000.00 and that is even high. I will want a trailer but would like to rent a slip for the season. How much are slips? Outboard or inboard, brand, aluminum or fiberglass, Bayliner, Crestliner or what? Used or new...... I am leaning to used as most cost effective. With the economy I expect many good used boats are available. Also many may persons buy boats and then decide it's not for them. Any suggestions appreciated. Consider me a total noob on the topic.
  17. Nice guns. Magpul and Yankee Hill have nice accessories. When I pick a favorite it might not be very impressive as it could well be a gun with with more sentimental value such as my second .22, a J C Higgins / Marlin. Note, I gave away my first .22, a Remington single shot to a close friend teaching his kids to shoot with no regrets. Or my fist pistol, a Ruger SIngle Six .22. Then again maybe my first and only used deer rifle, a Winchester Model 88 ,308. None really photo worthy for current gun nuts. I will see what of interest might be loaded up to photobucket. This one is a DS Arms (DSA) ,223 / 5.56, piston operated, match trigger, Duracote finish, forget what sights.
  18. Wizid should get a medal for longest post on XI. Problem is then someone would try to top it with some useless drivel.
  19. Good luck Mule, I cannot even imagine me needing to have supervised visits with my kids. They are my life and our bond is close because we do have good family contact.............. without anyone interfering.
  20. I doubt you would need an interpreter, most Swedes speak English as a second language. I would certainly try it before working through a third party.
  21. Like I have said before my father was born in Gavle and my mother in Haparanda and I cannot speak a lick of Swedish.
  22. I so hope our family members were there to greet my wife when she came.
  23. WolfTiS Nice Shamu. When are you getting the cans? I wish I knew.......... I have 3 ordered but delivery time was way out there. A SilencerCo Osprey .45 http://www.silencerco.com/?section=Products&page=Osprey A Liberty Essence .22 http://www.libertycans.net/essence.html A Liberty Mystic 9MM http://www.libertycans.net/mystic.html Then when they come in I have to submit my trust for approval before I can get them out the door. It's a very tedious process. Who knows, I could be dead before all is said and done. Supposedly trust approval is taking around 3 months. For Engine, link to Primary Arms for sights. Inexpensive but so far good. http://primaryarms.com/category.sc?categoryId=169
  24. Latest purchases, both 22's and both with threaded barrels to receive cans (Silencers). Ruger only has a 4 1/2'' barrel which works even better than longer barrels for efficient performance of a can. Ruger 2245, 22 LR, TB, Primary Arms Green Dot Sight GSG 1911, 22LR
