I tried the update again and still the same I tried the drivers updates from WIndows and Gigabyte, but they are already up to date My C drive has 360GB free, so lots of room there discs 2+3 are a 1TB portable drive and a 32GB USB stick and are showing as RAW format. found this site http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/16-windows-10-anniversary-update-issues-fix/ # 5 is what's happening with mine. I'm going to back the drives up and try to recover the partitions the way they say

I tried all that but they still don't work. it see's the devices, but it doesn't seem to know what to do with NTFS file system. if I go into Computer Management/Disk Management, the drives are seen, just in RAW format. I'll try the upgrade again later and see what happens- maybe something got fucked up somewhere. If it still fails, I might try and reformat 1 drive and see what happens

Be warned: I did the Anniversary Update and lost the use of all my USB drives ( Seagate, WD + Dell) and sticks. The pc finds them, but they are in RAW format. If I plug them into another machine, all are fine. I tried updating motherboard + USB drivers, but all up to date. There are quite a few posts about it and also it wiping complete partitions on systems to make room for the update. Microsoft's temp solution is to transfer the data off the drives on a working machine, plug them back in mine and reformat them. I shouldn't have to. The drives worked fine before the update. I ended rolling back the update and all my drives work again. I set updates to deferred and it's going to stay like that. I'm not going to be MS's beta tester for an upgrade issue that should have been fixed long ago.

You always want them taking air out of the case. The top 2 pull the air out and if you want, you should be able to add 2 more on the bottom of the cooler for a 4 fan setup , It's called a push/pull config . It looks like you have the holes, but i don't know about clearance with your board. If you are really into overclocking, then I'd add the extra fans. if not, 2 fans should be good for you. Run it and see what temps your cpu hits.

Played a lot of Rainbow Six and Rogue Spear so I'm actually looking forward to this one.

I had this problem (1 of many) during and after the upgrade. The start button was there but inop. Also, all my apps came up saying expired. Don't know if this will help, but I used this fix: If having issues with the start menu and other windows components giving the "Your trial period for this app has expired. Visit the Windows Store to purchase the full app." error this might help. Steps (2 total) 1 - Start Powershell in admin mode. 1. Open Explorer (WIN+E) 2. In the search text box type windowspowershell.exe 3. Right click on WindowsPowerShell.exe in the left pane and click "Run as Administrator" 2 - Disable Develpment Mode and Register Enter (copy and paste): Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"} After running it the Start button worked again. In the end I set it back to Windows 7- too many issues

mp_sbase kicks for 'File Sum/Name Mismatch'

MP_Lost kicks most if not all of the server when it changes sides. It gives the error 'file sum/name mismatch'

Thanks for taking it out. You can't kill anyone on it. You see the enemy no problem, but no one gets hit. It's like there's an invisible wall separating the map. All you do is run out of ammo.

What's up with all the ramming in this game? it seems if they can't shoot you down, they ram you. I got rammed by some bi-plane and it rips my fighter's wing off but it didn't kill him!!!! What the hell?? To stop it, they should make it if 2 plans contact, both are killed.

I've been running ATI for quite a few years now (9700,9800XT,X800XT,3870*2,5970, 6970*2). I've been happy with them, that's why I stick with them. I'm waiting to see what the new 8000 series will be like. Currently I'm running 2 ATI 6970 cards in Crossfire mode and have no complaints with the actual cards. The problem is the ATI drivers right now. They are playing with them to make the Crossfire performance better, but my secondary card seemed to run at 90% load even without gaming, so I had to revert back to an older driver. I've been playing War Thunder at 1920*1080 with everything maxed and the game plays great for me (but then I suck at it so it might seem like it's playing great!)

There is a firmware update for the G500S mouse. Maybe that's where the confusion is about flashing. The G500S has an onboard memory feature to store profiles inside the mouse. As far as i know, the G500 just stores the profiles in the PC. I have the G500S and have no issues with it. I just loaded the latest Logitech software that came out this past week with no issues at all. If you think it's the mouse, try it in a different PC and see what happens

I looked at the Switch 810 and I thought it seemed cheap the way the flap on top worked and the overall design. I just wasn't overly impressed with it. it's probably a great case, it just wasn't for me. I'm running a NZXT Phantom 630 Gun Metal with the Kraken X60 cooler and 2 6970 video cards and am fairly happy with it. Lots of room for expansion and it keeps cool I used the top 200mm fan as part of the push/pull setup. The only downfall is the size of the case. It just barely made it under the desk. The power supply sits on the bottom so I had to buy an extension cable for the mother board power to be able to hide the wiring.

The one I had was a Vantec. It was one of the first ones when these became available I think there were 4 slots in the case to let the heat out- It's no wonder it got hot. You could smell the heat coming off the case and the drives. Maybe the drives were on their way out, and the extra heat sped up their demise. Who knows. You should be ok- if it gets too hot, just open the case to vent it.

They work, but be careful. I smoked 2 drives with mine. The drives got really hot and started the click of death. Some of the better enclosures have fans. You can modify them and add your own. I ended up leaving the cover off to disipate the heat and it was ok.

I've had really good luck with Gigabyte and terrible luck with Asus (1 board RMA'd 4 times) I can pick one up new for approx 260.00 and it comes with 5 year warranty from Gigabyte The reviews for the most part are pretty favorable for this board, but wondering if anyone has first hand experience with this one.
