Well I don't blame people for being discouraged. I find myself getting that way too. It is damn frustrating to play and the damn thing crashes all of the time. If people would rejoin the game when it crashes then it would work better. Then you only have the inconvience of the crash. Then after a couple of crashes I can see getting frustrated and playing something else. I really like the game and yes I wil buy their maps, but I wish they would fix the damn thing. I don't know what their hang up is.

Yea, You are probably right Bama. I can't stand the heat, let alone the humidity. Everyone that I have talked to that visited that region just hates the weather. We only get 90-100 maybe 7-10 days a year. Rarely is it over that. I really hate being that warm, it just kills me. And with my health I wouldn't be able to deal with it. So I guess we just get used to where we live and deal with it. There is no perfect place to live. And to each his own. We probably all bitch about some aspect of where we live. But rarely do we do anything about it. There is a place in Spain that the lowest ever was 50 and the highest was 80. Now that would be damn nice. I don't know anywhere like that over here. And it only gets 22 inches of rain. We get 42 inches. I can't remember the name of the place. But it was green year around. It rained a little every few days. Sounds like paradise to me. But it was like stepping back in time 100 years. Very primitive.

Closing the state over two inches of snow. It is just slushy frozen water. You won't melt, but the snow might. Hell we keep going with over a foot. I had to come home once when it snowing. We were putting metal siding on a building and we had about 4 inches of snow on our shoulders, so we called it a day. Another time 2 of us put a 24 x 36 building up in one week in a foot of snow and the high for the week was 22 degrees F. I guess if you are not used to it then that may be a different story. But 2 inches. That shouldn't effect anything.

I hear your frustration. I really like the game so I am willing to put up with whatever it throws at me. Our servers are empty quite a bit, sometimes they play fine for hours and then someyimes they crash every other map. When they crash people go to a different server instead of rejoining ours. Someday they will get the bugs worked out and it will be an awesome game. Remember COD5 took 7 patches. The only thing that I like about Steam is that it does the pathches automatically. You don't have to search some where to down load it from and then down load it and then install each patch. Steam does do that for you. Not much help, but some. You have to prestige (Level 50) in order to unlock the customs. Once you do find our servers in the list or have a game invite, then save it to your favorites. It should stay there, but I have heard on occassion that it doesn't. Good luck, don't get discouraged, it is just another hurdle we have to cross. And it can be a pain in the ass. I didn't start playing online games until COD5. Just never had the interest, always working. After working 80 hours a week for 25 years, it took it's toll on me. So now I have all of the time I want. Not by choice. I am 52 and disabled. So I think that all of that hard work wasn;'t worth. Maybe it would of been if I was getting paid better. I could never get into COD2. To me it is like playing cartoons. Look at the graphics for the same map, between COD5 and COD2, there is no comparison. COD5 is way better, but to each his own. The main thing that there is always an XI server that you can play on at any given time.
