Is MW3 like BlackOps in that when you get killed you cannot talk from the afterlife? That was one reason no one ever talked in BlackOps, because you would be in mid sentence and you would die. Also, is my understanding correct? You cannot rank up on dedicated servers. I thought that was what “unranked” servers are for. I still have not heard anyting to make me want this game after being lied to by Tryarch and Activision.

I have not been able to enter the server. It keeps saying "the server is changing maps and try back in 10 sec".

Big Fat Harry NO. Activision and Treyarch have ruined it for me with their broken promises. I may reconsider if mod tools and custom maps are actually supported. Needless to say, that won't be known for a while.

Will there be Modtools for Modern Warfare 3 on PC? Mod Tools will not be shipped at launch. As always we are continually evaluating features to support post launch and this is one requiring further discussion. That sounds like a "NO" to me. They are not going to provide tools that will enable the gaming comunity to extend the life of a game when people will line up for a yearly release.

Just incase you need to know. Here are the Keyboard controls for BF3. You cannot change them in the beta. I downloaded the beta yesterday and have been fumbling around because my game pad was not set properly. W - Forward A - strafe Left D - Strafe Right S - Backward E - Enter Vehicle | Arm/Disarm MCOM R - Pickup Weapon T - Turn on/off flashlight/pointer Q - Spot Enemy Z - Prone Ctrl - Crouch x - Hold crouch f - Quick knife G - Grenade J - Public chat K - Team Chat L - Squad Chat 1 - 6 - Weapon selection f1 - f6 - Seat Selection C - External view in vehicle M - Minimap TAB- Scoreboard Esc - Menu Enter - Spawn Menu

Thanks so much for posting about this game. I have been leery about buying a game on the first day ever since Black Ops. I am still in counseling over it . I think I will get it, in a day or so.

I was on my way to work listening to the radio. The DJ’s reported that a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center. They then began to joke about being drunk and flying. The full story was not known at the time. It wasn’t until I got to work and saw the T.V. that things started making sense. We watched the towers fall at a dinner down the road.

Due to the speed of the ACE Mod, spawn killing is going to happen. There is a difference between running around a corner killing someone that has just spawned and camping a spawn point. If someone is camping a spawn site, get there name (video if possible) and inform an admin. I think our admins do a great job taking care of business. But, they can do nothing if all people do is bitch in game and "rage quite". Now, as far as the gaming styles go...... The more styles the better. Camp (Not a Spawn Point), Run & Gun, Crouch, Knife Only (Dean), etc. Bring it on. The game gets boring otherwise. Personally, I like to run around with my hair on fire while stabbing one guy, sending a rocket across the map and then taking aim on a corner dweller. I hate it when people bitch about someone's playing style just because it is different from there's. If you want to play the same way as everyone else, get an Xbox. Now everyone get the sand out of your manginas and have fun.

It almost sounds like the computer is overheating. I had similar issues when my water pump went out. Is your CPU fan running? Also, check your video card.

That is how I lost my little brother. Just keep letting him know he is not alone.
