I'll believe it when I see it. They promised similar when Black Ops 1ST came out. It never happened because Activision could not figure out a good way to continue making money on content built by others. If they do actually release the game for modding like COD4, I will most likely give it a try.

Correct me if my thinking is wrong here...... Is it OK to tie up a clan server to hunt for these blessed tags? I know the tags allow for some additional unlocks, but kicking people out of our servers, members or not, in order to make the hunt easier, does not seem right. I joined the >XI< US Hardcore server yesterday and soon left because no one was actually playing, just looking for tags. Also, there was talk of locking the server to keep people from joining and disrupting the hunt. I say, if you want to hunt for tags, do it while playing. If people outside the clan keep getting kicked for these tag hunts, it will become hard to repopulate the server once this tag craze is over.

Did you try a "Clean" install? Also, don't install the sound or 3D vision drivers if you do not need. I was having conflicts between my sound card and the Nvidia Sound drivers. Once I did a clean & custom install, everything worked fine.

I just read in the forums that the servers have been taken down in order to prepare them for the open beta. No known time for them to be back on-line.

I had the exact same issues. I have 2 Nvidia 570 in SLI. It worked great the first day. Them the problems started. I found a forum that stated to use the Nvidia Beta driver. I did and it seems to work great. I did notice that the game would lock up and crash on specific servers. There may be something there. The game is still in Beta, so I forgive. The choppers are 100 times earlier to handle. I was actually able to kill a tank with it. Was never able to do so in BF3. The sound is awesome.

Just installed the Beta.... The first thing I'm going to do is find JohnnyDos and make his prediction a reality.

O.K. I was going to pre-order Battlefield 4 today, but I got confused. It seemed the best option to go with was the cheapest. Now, I may be an Idiot, but I am not a dumb ass. Am I missing something? Here is how the prices go: All are Pre-Orders Battlefield 4 - $59.99 Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe - $69.99 Battlefield 4 Premium - $49.99 Can anyone give me the reasons? It seems the Digital Deluxe allows you to play the Beta for $10 extra. But why would premium be the cheapest? Could it be for those who have BF3 Premium?

If for a PC, go with Battlefield. Activision sucks big, furry, sticky, ulcer ridden balls.
