Take a day or two to think about it, calm down, and chill out. We ALL often say & do a lot of things out of anger/ hurt feelings, that we later regret. I have YET to see any situation that the XI admins weren't fair/ understanding about. I'm not kissing anyone's ass by saying that, it's the truth. If you have personal problems, fine... quit. If you are just ticked off because something didn't go like you wanted... then think about it a little. But it is your loss, and something you may regret when things calm down. If you turn your back on your friends/ clan because of something petty, then I have little sympathy for you. If it is something SO major that it can't be validly overlooked, you're an adult and are responsible for your own decisions.....then do what you have to do.... it's your call. But I would hope that once someone throws down their tags, they are gone for good. But before you do anything rash, take a day or two to think about it. Quick, emotional decisions are often something we regret later. It sounds like you have some good friends/ supporters here. Think about that.

what patches do i need
Ferret replied to PnBear's topic in Call of Duty 2's Call Of Duty 2 Discussion
PnBear ok got the patch up and running. got name changed from the default unknow. I had the game be for and gave it to my brother in law, and he lost it when he moved. got it at the pawn shop for 3 bucks, collectors edition. had and inspection just happed to look down and see it...woot so i'll kill you all soon....hehehe Bring it on, Homey... look forward to it. The graphics are a little cartoony if you are used to COD4 or 5, but having played them as well, I contend that the gameplay itself on COD2 IS better. -
I got 9 holes in this afternoon, somebody said "it's in the hole!" & I had a flashback... enjoy Cinderella Man Smails kid eats a booger... "he was hungry"

Fallout from the Fat(ASS) Acceptance thread
Ferret replied to NickTheGrip's topic in General Discussion
Here's a tip for ya bro, I go on a diet every couple years, and this works like a charm every time: DRINK WATER. Lots of it. With every meal (instead of ANY other drinks), and at snack times. If you can do it, go for a couple weeks and drink NOTHING but water & see if it doesn't make a difference. Just like anything else, it takes a little self-discipline at first, but you do get used to it pretty fast. Water has no calories, fills up your stomach & makes you feel less hungry (I always carried a water bottle at work & sip at it thorough the day to ease snacking urges), and most of all - it REALLY helps your system flush out lipids (fats) through both your kidneys & your bowels. Cokes/ milk/ even orange juice is LOADED with calories, and Diet Cokes & diet drinks contain phenylalinine and other stuff that inhibits good urine & excretory health (which you MUST have, to lose weight healthily). The cleansing part is as important as the no-calorie part. You don't hear that much about it from a "dieting" standpoint, because women don't do it much.... excessive water for women cause them to retain a lot of water & look bigger (especially during their "special time").... but men sweat more, have different chemistries, & usually don't have water retention problems at all. Actually, I found out about this WAYYY back in my early twenties when I was "body-building". Every bodybuilder I worked out with drank nothing but water. Even today, look up bodybuilders' diets online.... especially a few weeks before a contest, they drink NOTHING but water strictly, and plenty of it. Anyhoo, it has always worked great for me.... I swear by it - and I bet you can't find a doctor or dietician anywhere that wouldn't *highly* recommend drinking water instead of 99% of the other drinks we usually have. You may have to pee a little more often, but that really helps your body get rid of wastes & junk (including lipids). Good luck with it, bro. -
Being from Tennessee, I thought I'd share some sage advice with you about some of our boating technology..... And finally - the Tennessee Coast Guard:
-
Been boating all my life.... what your slips would cost would vary greatly on location. From what it sounds like from your post, you need a "runabout". If you are going to pull skiers/ tubes, you need at LEAST a 150 HP engine. Inboard/ outbard is a matter of preference, functionally it makes little difference, as long as you have good "trim" control. Bart is right, buying a "new" boat is kinda crazy, as they are god-awfully expensive new, and lose value quickly once used. If you can find a well-maintained used boat, that is definitely the way to go. The engine is the primary component of a boat, boat engines are usually designed to be rugged & durable - and just like a car engine, if you can find one that is well-maintained (that is the key), it is just about as good as a new one. I worked for Brunswick for a while (they make & own Mercury engines), and I would recommend to stay the hell away from Mercury engines if at all possible. Bombadrier/ Johnson, Honda, and Yamaha are the best outboard manufacturers there are. But again, stay the hell away from Mercury. If you fish at all, I would recommend a fish & ski combo runabout, getting strictly a ski boat kinda limits what you can do.... and "fishing" is a damn good way to escape the house/ wife/ kids for a little while (fishing rods are optional, if you know what I mean). Good luck with it, but I would recommend as a starter, to get something flexible in usage & reasonably priced, definitely go with a fiberglass hull (you'll need that weight to pull skiers)..... whenever you get accustomed to it & figure out exactly what you are wanting, you can trade/ upgrade to exactly what you want. Again, I *LOVE* getting out on my boat, I fish to "get away", but with my fish & ski rig w/outboard (Yamaha 125 HP) I can either take the kids tubing/skiing, or just go fishing by myself. I paid about $12,000 for my rig, it serves me well.... and for just a little more than the cost of one years' family vacation, my family can have a little vacation every weekend for years. Yeah, it takes some money to have a boat, but life is short, and you can have GREAT times & memories for years. You can get a damn good boat for $15K, but maybe consider towing it (if you have the vehiccle to do so), and save that berthing/docking expense.

You're a good cat, Sassy..... you have a good sense of humor & take getting whacked in the head like an adult. Two thumbs up....

If you have the time, do what I did.... I was having serious C.I. & lag/ latency issues with Knology - so I called theiir Cust. Service line 2-3 times per day - EVERY DAY - for about 3 straight weeks. I guess they keep logs of how long a customer keeps their Cust. Service people tied up on long phone calls, while other customers wait & get angry. After complaining enough, one of their Sr. Managers called me & told me "there isn't much we can do", and "calling so often wouldn't help". I politely told him I would continue to call EVERY TIME I had a problem, and that I was posting on our Facebook account about the never-ending problems with their service. **Miraculously* a few days later, our service area got an upgrade, and service has been pretty good since then. The moral of the story.... be persistent, COST THEM MONEY - and maybe they'll cut their losses and actually give you better service. Sometimes being an asshole pays off.....

getting called a spawn killer and a hack
Ferret replied to v.s.'s topic in Call of Duty 4's Call Of Duty 4 Discussion
bigjerm im not mad at u vs its all good and i kill u all u are all hookers lol Nice to know.... but I really kind of like the name "Big Jerk"...... you now have a new moniker, my friend -
It didn't take you long to get back to dominating the knife-kill stats on Ace Mod, did it? That "rust" didn't stay on long, did it? Kickin' ass, bro. V.S., Hijack, and Paperman were tough enough.... but you coming back pretty much obliterates my hopes/dreams of ever getting the knife-title. (I did have it briefly for two days, lol) I've had to back off my gaming-time due to work & studying lately.... and since the stat re-set, I have even lost the COD2 bash-stat title I had for a long time, to Tolk . (Good job, Tolk, btw). But I *WILL* get THAT one back.... Anyhoo, we're all VERY glad to see you back on Ace Mod, Bro - I hope you can stay back in for a long time.... but that won't stop me from trying to slice yo' ass up next time I see you in-game P.S. to Dean (I hope you don't mind, but I might steal/borrow the phrase from your signature "Guns are for Pussies" and put it on my sig, too.... I just *love* that.)

getting called a spawn killer and a hack
Ferret replied to v.s.'s topic in Call of Duty 4's Call Of Duty 4 Discussion
Chill out, V.S. You are a good player & particularly good knifer (but now that MeanDean is back, you aren't the best anymore).... but Jerm is a good guy & player too. If you were REALLY hacking, evidence would be presented & you would have already been gone. I suspect Jerm is just razzing you/ having fun/ blowing off steam about the hacking stuff. You win a lot of maps & score high.... and like most peeps that get high scores & win maps, you have likely spawn-killed a few times (whether intentionally or not) to do that. We all eat some spawn-nades & get shot full of holes before we can even move.... part of the "Free-for-all" game. I don't recall you ever camping a spawn.... but scoring like you do, I bet you have made your fair share of spawn-kills - whether you meant to or not. Experienced players know where the spawn areas are, and may subconsciously (or otherwise) expose that area to frequent fire & explosions. Jerm is a good guy, I think you are just being too sensitive. Try not to lay a barage of nades or strafing fire into spawn areas (which we ALL do from time to time), and see how it goes. If the hack-cusing is really bothering you that much, take it up with an admin off-line, they are good at handling those things. But I think you might be over-reacting, my friend.... I like playing against you, I particularly like a good knife-fight against you.... but if you are a top-scorer (in a video game or with ANY aspect of life), you have to learn to accept some sniping at you. So chill out dude, enjoy it for what it is - a video game. Give a little shit back to Jerm (in a good-mannered way), and you can have fun with him the way many of the rest of us do. I think he's hilarious when he whines about getting sliced up . Some of us aren't good enough to ever be accused of hacking, you apparently are. So your glass is half-full.... don't waste your time & energy fretting about the empty half. -

It pooped out after the Pool map @ 8:20. Always does it at the start of a map. Not a big deal, I can hit Ace mod or COD2 - but it is a little addicting. Thanks for your help.

Zombies server has been freezing up. Apologies if you guys already know about it, but I just started playing on the Zomibes server & it seems to be freezing up every few maps.

NO SERVERS SHOWINF UP WHEN I DO A REFRESH
Ferret replied to Alton Brown's topic in Call of Duty 4's Call Of Duty 4 Discussion
I never have been able to find all the servers from the in-game server list, tried everything.... I use X-Fire to get into games & servers, it has them all listed. -

Pretty funny actually. But generic guy is still smarter than Obama, and has more executive experience. I'm not so sure he couldn't beat Obama for real. Colbert can be funny at times, but Chris Matthews is a simpering, greasy, used-tampon panty-waste.... and that's on his "good" days.
