I wonder what it would be like to play google or shooter or jumper or many of the other outstanding European players we have if they had low pings. I do think ping makes a huge difference in COD2. I am not as sure about COD4.

It's not "taboo." We have people from all over the world in this clan with one thing in common - we like to play the same games. Politically we are all very different. If it were proven that we could have reasoned dialog on politics with one another, then perhaps the administrators would have continued to allow the political topics to be in these forums for everyone. But we proved, time and again, that we were incapable of it. Sadly, the chasm of divisiveness that has engulfed our country and spawned all kinds of petty, unreasonable discourse, routinely finds its way into any discussion of politics in this forum. I for one get enough "real world" stuff in the Real World. I don't need more of it here.

I used to have a shortcut on my desktop to load up COD4 with a mod so I could test out maps with the different mods. I lost that shortcut somehow, and can't for the life of me find the command or remember it. Can someone hook me up?

Glad it's working! It can be frustrating to put hours and hours of work into these things and have them not work.

Yeah that happened to me a year or so ago - I had a 20" Dell flatscreen monitor that just went kaput on me. No advanced warning or anything. As far as monitors go, I personally just needed one with a bunch of USB ports on it and two HDMI inputs (one for my laptop and one for my workstation). Depending on your funding, it's sort of like buying a TV. But the good news they have come down in a price a LOT since you last got one. Best Buy has the Dell 24" UltraSharp monitor on sale for $296. That's an awesome monitor. In any case you can probably find a 1080p 24" LED monitor for $200.

All that being said, the asshat who picked up the stick needs some serious wall to wall counseling.

If anyone has played mp_dome on the MW2 ftag beta server, you have seen one of Stormcrow's anal beads being used as a model for the "dome." Now that's strange!

For COD4? I recently reinstalled everything (don't ask) - I patched my game up to 1.7 but there was a cumulative patch up to 1.6, so I only patched twice. For Radiant, I just installed the radiant tools package and the one patch for it. Everything works for me?
