Guide for Entering/Favourting XI Day of Infamy Server

Just a small guide for people wanting to join the XI Day Of Infamy Server

1: The Start Screen

 

 

2: Multiplayer Menu

Make sure the difficulty "Grit" is selected as that is what our server is running.

 

 

To join the server you simply press join server at the bottom right as shown at below:

 

 

3: Adding server to the favourites (Optional)

 

Now to add the server as a favourite takes a few extra steps.

First you need to go back to the main menu and click on settings

 

 

In settings on the first page you should see “Legacy Server Browser”. It will be disabled by default so make sure its enabled

 

 

Then you would want to go back to the main menu and you will see server browser option available on the bottom to you.

 

 

Once you click on that you will see 100’s of servers.

 

(Unfortunately at the moment the search option isn’t fully working at the moment so you will have to manually find the XI server in the list.)

 

 

 

Once you find it you right click on the server and you should see the option to add the a server to favourites

 

 

 

Also don’t forget when the server is full and you can’t join it. Go into server browser and right click on the XI server, press connect to server and you should see the following box appear.

 

 

On the very bottom beside Join Game you should see the option called Auto-Retry. From there it gives you 2 options. Click on the very last option and it will bring you straight into game once I player disconnects
