So the moral of this story is if you got one of the sale priced disks,its an upgrade so you have to boot xp and install from there.... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... With Vista your hard drive has different partitions so you can load it along side i believe, i have also read a post on here lately that says that windows 7 deletes or uninstalls all of your programs and reinstalls them, i just hope it easy.
