There's also a secure deletion option within CCleaner so what you delete is actually deleted and unrecoverable - if one does anything financial with the computer, that is a major aid to privacy and security.

I have never liked messing with the registry in a "hands on" kind of way and would much prefer to automate that clean-up.  It is amazing how many errors there are that build up in it and, if the registry gets too far gone, the machine won't work, of course.

I have two suggestions-

One:

If you want to keep your PC clean and dont want to bog it down go to portableapps.com or liberkey.com both install on on a flash drive and dont leave anything behind when you exit. (except for the flash dive boot up logs) I can use Ccleaner, registry, defrag tools, run Linux, p2p, IM, open exel or word files and more start a web or ftp server and best of all you dont need a flash drive- you can install it to a folder on any drive, hell it can even run a web server off a cd( (cant update it though (cant hack it either)) lol.

If you do put it on a usb stick its a bit slower but goes to any pc u put it in. Firefox with favs etc goes with you.

Two:

Download midget porn its a much smaller DL Foot in mouth

Ccleaner is what I use and it has a registry cleanr built in with it as well as a uninstaller for pesty apps also Malwarebytes for rouge malware/adware....I would also like to mention Gamebooster v.2 and as always Avg2011....

These all I have used for years now and besides her needing a blow job every so often they have always worked very well for me

Loader I agree but I started having probs with AVG so I switched to Microsoft Security Essentials and my rig runs cleaner and faster. Peeps been asking why I am faster and the only dif between now and 2 weeks ago is Microsoft Security Essentials. Try it out, its free!!!

Good point Damage. Malwarebytes has helped me several times and I have to agree with Dean also about Microsoft Security Essentials.
