no sound

i just installed a new video card. went from a radeon 4650 to ann 5770. i now have no sound on black ops. computer has sound and the picture is great, but i can't here anything on black ops.  does anyone have a clue as to what is wrong? please help. lol

dont know ..but i would try looking in the setting and see if there is some thing turned off ..but i am sure you did that ..ask sun tzu.he might know

Yeah check in your Black ops settings that sometimes happens to me, if i been playing another game for some reason when i play Black Ops the option to use my mic or the sound setting have mysteriously changed on their own, click settings then sound then at the bottom it says speaker set up and sound device just check you have them correctly set to whatever sound device you are using, it's probably something as simple as that m8.Smile

ithx for the help guys. what i did was go to a previous restore point and walla, sound was ok. don't know why, but it worked
