At the very end of the video you'll hear the song 'Thunder Road' sung by the star of the movie for which it was the theme! Not uncommon except this is the one and only song ever recorded, for publication, sung by Robert Mitchum! Cars we drove in the 50's and 60's. http://oldfortyfives.com/CarsWeDrove.htm Awards

Usually links are just read and trashed with no acknowledgement. While not a motor head my self a few in my group of friends were heavy into drag racing. Many a Sat. spent at ATCO http://www.atcoraceway.com/ or a strip in Hatfield, PA now closed. As for the cars themselves my first was a blue 57 Chevy Bel Air which I bought while I was at Fort Sill, OK in 1962, when I got home from the Army in 64 I bought my parents 58 Chevy Impala. My first new car was a 65 GTO. How I have often wished to still have any one of the three.
