Hey Everybody, been awhile

I just wanted to say Hello again to all of you fine examples of XI people, my family and friends. I finally gotmy shit together and am back again. I went through 3 computers in 3 weeks. I finally got one good one going and I am going to tweek it some more. One should be back next week, after sending it to TX twice. Fucking HP people. It started out the HD crashed then they sent me a bad one, then I sent them the computer and it come back with fucked up memory slots. It is in shipment back to me now. But in the mean time I used my old one and the power supply went and so did the video card. I am giving that one to my daughter. I broke into my coin collection and bought a brand new one. So next week I should have 2 good computers, one for my grandson and one for me, just like it used to be but only better.

The tragic part of all of this is that my wife of 33 years had a stroke. That just about did me in. She already has lung cancer and had her first radiation treatment on last Monday and then Tuesday she is in the hospital with a stroke. She is home now and doing much better. It is hard to tell that she has had one. But it really wakes you up. Your mind will have all kinds of games it will play on you.

The Dr came into her room Wednesday and said oh by the way you have brain cancer. We about shit ourselves, we both just started crying. Pretty much a death sentence if someone tells you that. We were devastated. And then my wife's Oncologist talked to us and said that she looked at all of the catscans and MRI's and said it was old reminants of a infection my wife had behind her ear a few months ago. And no brain cancer. We were fucking relived as hell. I wanted to hang that first bitch of a Dr. They shouldn't be able to tell people that shit, unless they are 100% sure.

My wife is doing fine now, well as good as can be expected. She will pull through her lung cancer. It is in one spot and she has to have radiation treatments for 35 days. Five days a week for 7 weeks. I think that she will pull through, you got to have a positive attitude. So I am trying to get my head on straight. And I miss everything here at XI and all of my friends. So I can finally be myself again, maybe, my Dr. fucked up and doubled my pain meds. Damn, I will be slower than before now. So maybe somebody can rack some kill streaks.

It is just good to be back. Thank you Funstick for your support. You helped me a lot. I hope that I can repay you some how.

I was looking at the XI pics roll by and we are such a diverse bunch of people. All makes and models. That is what makes us who we are. And that is this great place we call XI.

Sorry it was so long, I get that way on these pain meds. Makes you talk forever about nothing.

Seriously, I hope your wife is doing ok, that's some heavy shit you are both dealing with. I wish you both the best

 

And definitely kill that Doctor. I had the same issue with my ex-wife recently. He scared her so much with concerns about pancreatic cancer (which is always fatal and usually inoperable) and after a million tests a different doctor said it was only ovarian cysts and nothing really serious, although I wouldn't like to catch that shit!!!
