Catch and release is the correct thing to do. This river has recovered nicely. Several other rivers in the area are not doing so well. We are aloud to keep 8 smaller Atlantic Salmon with the largest size being 24 3/4 ". I normally only keep 3-4 per year. These smaller fish are 90% males and the biologist feel their is no harm in killing these smaller males. Awards

Leave the skin on and lay the 2 halves on tin foil on a flat cookie sheet drizzle lemon over the flesh, salt and pepper lay lemon wedges and dill over the flesh. Take a piece of Maple or apple wood that has been soaked in water for awhile. Heat the BBQ (Propane) to about 350F and place the wood down by the flame but not too close as you want the wood to SMOKE and not catch fire. Place the cookie sheet with the fish on the grill close the cover and check often. Don't over cook the fish. The price in a fine New York restaurant $55/Plate. The price at Weed's house= price of Fishing gear + 4 wheel drive truck + all the fly tying gear + the price of the camp + the gas to drive 200 mile round trip to the camp = $2785.00/plate. WORTH EVERY CENT. LOLOL Awards
