With that being said we do need to keep a mix small and big maps so if there are some maps that folks would like to see we sure could consider them... Another issue at hand is there is 2 pages with 10 maps each for voting on.... This has to be looked into as it may be leaving some maps or is out of the vote altogether and can there be more time allotted for voting on perhaps 3 pages or 4 I have spoken with Bart and feel we all need to have a meeting to touch bases on things ( Its been awhile ) as far as the spawn protection thing.. I was as was others left to believe it was on then upon checking it was in fact off there for it was turned on and set to 5 seconds with invisibility on....Players may not even notice ..... That in its self would help with the " spawn killing " which we can never stop totally but at the same time camping a known spawn area is a no no and should be frowned on not promoted...Some maps are tuff there small but we need them for when there only a few people in there playing I have looked at this thread from its beginning "spawn protection ? " and felt it needing looked into im sorry if you guys feel I left all of you out of the loop but it was a simple ? that got a simple response... Back to your thing on maps Pete since this thread been stomped to death could you please start a thread in COD2 forums on maps people may like to see just please like I said some may cause server problems so if we do we may have to go slow with them to see that the server will not act up Thank you loADER>XI< Blackbart 1 Awards

All of us have been playing each other for the last 2 to 6 years now. I know exactly where each and every player will be because each player has a style and a favorite place or even a favorite map. Sometimes you just have to play in a different part of the playground if you don't like the big swingset.......If it scares you just go the the preschool side...... Seriously....If someones style bothers you after this much time you need to take a break. I personally love playing with almost each and every regular player here and I will exploit their style to my favor. If that means a nade or a good bash to the head...so be it. We have all been together for a long time and sure sometimes a trip is close to a spawn.... Was it intentional???? They might have spawned nearby and ran over to protect their backs and not known it was next to a different spawn. Not everyone knows each and every spawn point. Depending on how many players there are i seems some spawn points are not used at all times. I have noticed new spawn points in maps I have played for a long time if the map is really busy. There is also the revenge spawn... if you are too slow to shoot the killer it will seem like someone is spawn killing or camping. I am on a full run as soon as I spawn and don't try to leave myself open, but if I spawn facing the wrong way I could be killed before I move. I can pretty well guarantee that I will hate this stupid 5 second invisible spawn protection. That will be a couple kills I'll loose due to that. I happen to die a lot so if I have 40 deaths that means I will have 200 seconds of useless playing time in the game.... Spawn protection may work on larger maps but shooties, pistols, and small maps will become a complete mess. By all accounts, it seems that the majority of players and admins are happy with the servers. People are enjoying themselves. and complaints are in the minority. Glove did bring up a good point and does warrant our attention. It seems to me that some maps are still an issue. A select few have very few spawn points which make them a mess altogether. I suggest we consider removing the few that are still and issue and replace them with quality maps. I personally believe that small changes are needed rather than large ones. I also agree Loader, a meeting maybe of use to us since its been along time. While there are those who love this (I won't mention any names PETE), we went from 15 players when I joined down to 4 players by the end of the pistol map. Those three should not come up on consecutive votes. I enjoy those maps too, but by the time I was done playing all three one right after another, I needed a break as did many other players. Not nearly enough!..lol... Seriously though, we can go an entire evening without a shootie. Its all dependent on whom is voting and if you have players that dont care for them, they never get voted on. Do we hear complaints then (minus myself lol). One thing about last nite, as much as that was mayhem, people were having fun and laughing their asses off, while shooting someone elses... I think people afterwards because they were so friggin tired of running and gunning... Awards

It almost never happens, but I thought we all talked a while back that certain types of maps didn't come up one after another. If thats the case, Im going down to Calgary Police Department to ask if they will forgive my speeding tickets for I thought it was unfair...Hahahahaha In the end, do what you wish... It's completely unfair to frag someone at the moment they spawn. Since I'm no longer playing, I don't know about the invisibility thing but you also have to be careful not to give the person spawning any sort of advantage.
