We couldn't figure out where they're coming in. Idid a check about 5 days ago and saw a continuous stream coming andgoing from the corner of a basement window. It's in a recessed well, so Iducked down and looked up, and saw a crack in the window casing. Itlooked like JFK airport at a peak busy time. That evening, I sprayedwasp killer up into the crack, and went downstairs into the room, myserver room, and sprayed up into the drop ceiling. I looked up anddidn't see a nest, so I thought they were in the wall. I also foggedthat room with wasp killer each evening as well, A few dozen dead ones have accumulated. I also noticed in the room above the server room several dead wasps nearthe window. Anyway, I repeated the spraying at night and early morningand the flow of wasps fell to a small trickle. Today, my wife found 8 inthe house. I went back downstairs - with hard-hat, goggles etc - and I noted several dead wasps overby the closet, and I removed the ceiling tile closest to it. There wereat least 60 wasps on the tile, some moving. The nest that you see isabout 15"x9". I just fogged the upstairs and downstairs rooms with waspspray, and soaked the nest with wasp killer. I hear some angry buzzingcoming out of it! I then fogged that room, closed the door, and put atowel under the door. In about an hour, I'll inject wasp-killinginsecticide foam into the nest. This should take care of the bastards! The crack will be sealed tomorrow. Did I mention that I'm allergic to wasp stings? Xalandra 1 Awards

We sealed the crack, and I injected more foam into the nest and scraped it into a big blue recycling bucket. After all the chemicals that were injected into the hive, there was one left living...but not for long. I'll have to take down the 4 tiles between the window and the nest as there are a ton of dead ones on top of them, and take some gloves and a scraper to get the rest of the bits and pieces left. Last, we'll have to scrub the room thoroughly to get rid of the chemicals. I don't want my pups going near the room until that's done. Awards
