This problem has been happening for a couple of months now....

While playing on the Freezetag Beta and the Ace Mod, I will lose connection to the server.  I have to completely turn off the game and restart for my connection to be restored.  I can usually play for 5 to 10 min. before I lose the connection.  If I look at my Internet Bandwidth Log using Bigfoot Network Manager, it shows a huge spike in the "Offload Bandwidth Rx".  Whatever the hell that means.

Any help will be appreciated.

The router is probably 2 to 3 years old.

Running in the Background (That I am aware of):

AVG

Logitech Gaming Software (Keyboard)

n52te (Game Controller)

Xfire

Killer Network Manager

ROG Thunderbolt Audio

Shogun Bros. Balista (Mouse)

Thanks for the help.

Well I would get rid of AVG and get MSE http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security-essentials-download try it without x-fire. (you might want to delete x-fire and redownload the latest ver they have changed it and you might of gotten a poor update.) And turn off you network manager while in game. Last and its hard to tell next time just reboot your router to see if it fixes the issue. Router do go bad and not that I'd say yours is getting old but you never know. I hate saying this because I believe if its not broken do not fix it but take a look and see if there's a new firmware for it.

  Good Luck
